Options for Hero ears (3 bumps)

I ordered some hero ears from John for the hero ANH helmet I was planning on doing with my TMC armor. Unfortunately I goofed up and trimmed too much. Looks like this build will end up a stunt. The plastic of the hero ears was cream white and the helmet was bright white. The ears would have stuck out like a sore thumb without repainting them to match the helmet.

 

My question is what other options are there for hero ears besides John? For my next helmet build I was thinking of salvaging the three bumps from John's ears and combining them with another set of ears ( I have two other sets sitting in my garage), would that work?

Johns ears were cream white? That's odd. Have you mentioned this to him?

I don't know anyone that makes ears, but I'm sure someone else will know.

im sure you could paint johns ears to match your armor

TM and Gino make Hero. But the color tone of the white maybe not match either.

 

Here are some options.

1. paint the whole helmet.

 

2. Cut out the Hero ear bars and cut/dremel out the same are of the ears the color match you helmet. then glue them into the ears that work color wise for your helmet. See below: Sorry, my diagram is a little crude (I am at work.)

Yeah, I'll save (whats left) of the hero ears I have and do some surgery and attach the bumps to another set of ears.
