Info on Mods and How To's for MRCE/EFX PCR Helmets

OK here are all the "how to's" and tutorials for the MRCE and EFX PCR style helmets.

 

NOTE: The EFX PCR is made from the same molds as the MRCE, it is just under a different brand name. These mod links will work for the EFX PCR as well.

There is almost everything together! The list lacks the minimum requirements/modifications for the MRCE to be up to 501st standards. Seems there is until now only this thread:----------

 

Maybe there could be a pinned thread for all those MRCE owners out there?

Not quite. Per LMO the following changes are needed for 501st acceptance on the MRCE:

 

1) Replace lenses with darker ones

2) Fill in the seam just below the frown with caulk or similar

3) Replace the tube stripes

4) Add correct number of screws to the ears

 

Are these the official required modifications? Or is there a current list out yet?

Unless the LMO has changed it recently, that has been the official list for what - 3 or 4 years now?

Yep. Should still be the same mods.

I can't really think of anything else you'd want to do to alter it anyway, except maybe add an S-trim.
