Does anyone knows how to publish photos in here? If I attach a pic it ends really small, but the hyperlink to my Picasa doesn't seem to work , any suggestions?

The best way to post/publish photos is to use a image hosting site like Photobucket.com or Flickr.com . This sites are free to use. Once you are signed up to one of these hosting sites, then you can upload your photos from you computer to their site. Once you have uploaded your photos to either Photobucket or Flickr, you with have a IMG code that you can post in any thread/post you do here.

If you want to use Picasa web, make sure the Album is set to public.

When you click the album you should see this in the upper right:

Click (edit) and make it public:

If the album wasn't public when you uploaded this image, this next part may not work. I've had trouble with it and needed to re-upload an image.

Click on the image you want to post. There should be a "Link to this photo" link in the lower right.

You want to select the "Image only" option and pick an appropriate size. Then you can use these instructions to post the image to the forum using the Embed image link for the image url.

I also like to take the Link url and link it to the photo so that clicking the photo will take you to a higher resolution version of the image. After putting the photo in your post, click the photo and click the link icon.

Then put in the Link url from Picasa web.

these forums require the img tag

The url for the actual photo is placed between [ img] and [ /img] (no spaces). If you have it set to view in html you must copy the url that looks like this.

https://lh4.googleus...8/s717/e-11.jpg

Notice the .jpg at the end of the url. That means it is a direct link to the image. not a web page that shows the image.

I don't know picasa. You can figure out the direct url for the photo by control clicking the image and select view image. All that should appear in your browser window is the photo you want to post.

It does work. Do you skype? Maybe I can help via that.

it worked!!! , thanks , though the pic is still small, I guess that's a problem regarding the size of the original file?

You're trying to link to the picasa image page not the image itself. Right click on the image and you may be able to copy the image URL. You know you have the right one when the link ends in "jpg" Then click on the little icon of the image in the editor and paste the image URL in the box and voila!

It's working but how do you get the big picture, I'm only able to post a small pic , same image

If you use the embed image link make sure to change the select size drop box to something bigger then thumbnail, which is the default.

Is there a way to delete posts? I Just realized that this tread could be redundant , maybe just add it to the one Rouge suggested me
