Bushido Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 So which is worse? That stormtrooper helmet posted while back or this one? Quote
Sparrow Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 This makes me sick! Then I see how much they are asking! Quote
xaoslord Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Now I'm going to have nightmares... Quote
Dirt McGirt Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 LOL I have had the misfortune of coming across this very same Vader helmet some time back. I'm guessing the seller is giving it another shot, though why I'll never know. One would have to be quite the Vader collector to want that. There is a market for darn near anything. It looks like it's made of hot tar. Quote
TD-3425 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 It looks like it's made of hot tar. BWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!! Quote
Storm_Knight1[TK] Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Agree with xaoslord, now I'll probably have nightmares about this...unfortunately some things you can't un-see. LOL. Quote
Marv Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 No way... "Look theres Darth Vader!" That's simply brilliant, you can't buy that kind of comedy. Quote
stevechewbacca[501st] Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Well, sorry but I don't see what's wrong with this helmet ^^" Yep, I agree, the guy shouldn't sell it, but... He made it in 1977 with no skills nore materials like we do now and without any good ref. So, I think it's a really good piece. But not at $500, at $5 may be And he used it at a college party if I read well in 1977. So, yes, I understand the guys who told "Look theres Darth Vader!". In this year, with no real TK or SL like in the 501st, he WAS Darth Vader, and probably the only one of its college Well... Just to ask you to don't be too rude with this guy Quote

Just to ask you to don't be too rude with this guy This is true, just like one of our first TK helmets shown here http://www.starwarsh...ialfanMarco.htm but to think of it alot of guys still sport the FX which is not to off from it. I believe it said this helmet was introduced in the early 90's which is well over ten years of technology of what this vader helmet was produced with lol. I think with as long as this person had it and how they made it it should be on SThelmets at least in the "Doom" section. There is another helmet on there that is very similar lol. PS: you know it belongs to you Steve . I bet it is in you submission pictures on the mantle above the fireplace in the background Edited February 23, 2012 by Striker Quote
Griffin-X[TK] Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 it is neat but 500$ wow It's Darth Vader's "slower" cousin Bob Vader. Quote
iconoclasta_88[501st] Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 If this was proven to be the very first fan made full Vader helmet, it would be worth a lot more. But, how can anyone prove that. Anyway, for a fair price, I am sure that someone like Steve Sansweet would actually go for it. Reminds me of my own 4th bday party Vader costume... Saludos Quote
NastyNoah[TK] Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Jaun your costume rocks compared to the eBay Vader. Quote
Bushido Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 You know what after looking at the picture again, it looks like a Batman-like costume from the old movies. Quote
NewTrooper2 Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 The Mr. Potato Head toy that was out has a more accurate looking helmet than THAT abomination! Ewwww! Sincerely, NewTrooper2. Quote
Colt Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 500 bucks ? maybe it comes with... THE FORCE included!? Quote
Trout Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 And if you look closely, Vader is wearing the same chest armor as the Bounty Hunter the same guy is selling: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bounty-Hunter-Costume-hand-Made-1979-/130656922821?pt=US_Costumes&hash=item1e6bc26cc5 I have to get some of those shorts Quote
