TKC Lightsaber

Hello all I am new to this sit me and the 501st but have done lots and lots of research as to the TKC and more importantly the lightsaber part. I know on the crl it's alls for a graflex style or something near starkillers I'm wondoring how liberal one can do this?

What is TKC?

 

 

Sticking to the CRL is a real good bet anyway around. The word "liberal" gets iffy if you are looking for accurate costume replication.

I do agree to go with the crl but it is very limited on detail. Plus some of the things it asks for r damn near impossible I.e making a lightsaber with a blade and elec out of the old graflex flash ya that's a pain. I just wanted to see if anyone else has done such a thing as far as a TKC with a lightsaber

I would think that the lightsabers would be issued by the Empire, so they would look the same from TKC to TKC

Not trying to be negative, but I still don't get why the crl even allows a lightsaber... The only reason the TKC has been seen with one is due to a cheat allowing you to play as the character; the TKC model has a lightsaber because starkiller needs one for the game. All the actual TKC's that you run into all have blasters, so why is the lightsaber included?? just my $0.02

thank you Star Rider that is kinda what i really want to do just a plain storm trooper with that exact lightsaber, but i dont know how to get that approved. i do know you need 3 sources and i have that. anyone know ?? and if not can i just the lightsaber in that picture

Like i said This type of Stormtrooper with a Lightsaber is what i really want. i wan to stay AWAY from the Graflex Lightsaber of Vader, Luke ( ep.4 and 5), and Starkiller. Its Super expensive and hard to get not even talking about the pain it is to convert with Elecs and a Blade.

 

 

 

 

I have seen this lightsaber up close Super cool. Just waiting for some Green Light to get it with the stromtrooper Armor.

 

If anyone knows if im posting this in the wrong spot please help me out, this is what i really want to do , i really want to be in the 501st.

Darth Vader versus the clone stormtroopers of Sa Cuis.

As an experiment, Sa Cuis, an Emperor's Hand, was cloned to create a batch of entirely Force-sensitive stormtroopers. The experimental batch of troopers were outfitted with the usual armor worn by all regular stormtroopers. Through their training, the clones learned to master their genetically-inherited Force powers and combat skills. As the genetic replicas of Sa Cuis, the clones were armed with red-bladed lightsabers.^[6]

The initial success of the Force-wielding clones were greatly impressed Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, who even considered transferring them into the 501st Legion. However, the Force-sensitive stormtroopers were secretly loyal only to Sheyvan, an Emperor's Hand who raised and trained the clones. When he attempted to kill the two Sith Lords, the clones of Sa Cuis obeyed their true master without question. It's not necessary to build a TKC. You could just get approved as a regular TK (without the lightsaber), then carry the lightsaber at non-canon events as you see fit.

That's what it says in the crl I just wonder has anyone made the saber for it and gotten it aspired I'm curious how they did it and also how far I can go and get it approved. Like who would approve such a thing ?

I'm building a TKC myself and decided against the Light Saber after reading various comments on another thread, including one on my own thread.

 

I can understand the force sensitive TKs having one at non Cannon events as most member of "Jo Public" probably do not know that these type of TKs existed. They just see a TK and go "Ooh Star Wars". If you took everything you saw in the games/books/drawings as clearable then the whole point of doing this would be out of the window. Might as well all wear the Rubbies kit and be done with it!

 

It is a nice looking saber mind, and if anyone did build one I would love to see the thread and maybe have a go myself but only for display!

 

Keep it simple, TKs with Blasters, Jedi/Sith with Sabers.

Has anyone else noticed that this guys Sniper plate is on the wrong leg, how does he walk? The plate would catch the ammo pouches.

THAT is freakin' hilarious!!! I didn't know C3PO was such a bada$$, and the dumb look on Ackbar's face as he deals some dual-wielding damage is priceless!

 

But I digress. The white stormtrooper lightsaber (which I own and have occasionally carried) is as I recall is classified as a non-canon accessory. What that means is you likely won't get approved by your GML if you submit pics with it, but depending on your local garrison you can carry it at non-canon events.

As for the general topic of TKs and lightsabers, this was put to a detachment vote and the results were incorporated into the CRLs. Again, the path of least resistance is to get approved without it first then carry it as an accessory if you like.

Thanks for this heads up I mean if a regular TK can use that I don't have to do an TKC, seeing as my whole point over the two was the blade.

I concur. For the TKC and Incinerator, since that was the only experience where TKCs and Incinerators where shown to have light sabers, Starkillers would also be allowed. Now all this being said. Get approved for everything without a weapon, then talk to your garrison and ask them if it would be OK to carry the lightsaber according to CRL during events...

 

Also that Admiral Ackbar is pretty funny... I also understand your point

No, it isn't a problem wearing the sniper plate on the wrong knee. This guy got away with it in ANH:
