James[501st]
My (second hand) AM armor shins have no return edge on the top where the shins meet the knee. I've looked through some EIB application photos of AM armor and they seem to have a return edge. Mine do not look like they were cut, is there an earlier version of AM that had no such edge? Same question applies to the thighs (at the top & bottom). Here's a couple images of these edges from TK-7586's application. gazmosis[501st]
#1, those pics are not of AM armor. #2 if you can, post some pics so that we know exactly what you are referring to so you can get the most accurate answer! Happy Holidays, James!
RogueTrooper[TK]
Did you buy them used? The AM shins and Thighs have a return edge.

Since they are second hand, the previous owner more than likely trimmed them to them body type and did not add back the return edge. Here is a link from making return edges. ---------- As for the return edge on the top part of the shins, you may have to leave them alone....But, if you look at the original screen used suits, some of the shins had very little return edge to them. James[501st]
Here's the best I can find at the moment. I know the thighs were cut at the top, though the bottoms have no return edge and do not appear to be cut. The tops of the shins have zero return edge and do not appear cut at all. TD-3425
You don't want a return edge in the back, trust me, stairs are your worst nightmare. My AM had a big return edge and I cut them off entirely.
