captsafe66[Admin] Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Do the screws and brackets rub while trooping?? Quote

89Batman[TK] Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 That is a piece of art!!! Quote
darth_oliver Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Wow! I'm on TM's waiting list and still trying to decide if I want the acrylic capped or regular ABS. Which is this? And is this the movie strapping? These pics make me want me armor now! lol Cheers! Quote
TK-4510[501st] Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 How wide is the elastic straps in the thighs? Quote
troopermaster Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 This suit is made of 1.5mm regular ABS and yes, it is movie strapping. Thigh straps are 3" wide. Quote
JoeR Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Awesome suit! You are one lucky guy. TM is one of the few people to trim the ears and fit them properly, not too fat on the trimming! Joe Quote
lightside Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) Where do you get the movie accurate strapping staff? I mean those " C hooks" to keep armour pieces together and the strapping hooks for the shins. I've looked around but I can't find them so accurate. Edited August 17, 2012 by lightside Quote
TrooperJay Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Absolutely gorgeous set you got there. Quote
vecspeed12 Posted September 11, 2012 Author Report Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) i haven't been in armor lately but this was my last troop. i'm on the left. johnblackk on the right with his TM 1.mm armour. Edited September 11, 2012 by vecspeed12 Quote
vecspeed12 Posted May 28, 2013 Author Report Posted May 28, 2013 So it finally happened. After many troops, my armour is more screen accurate. In the pictures you just see the biggest crack. There are some smaller stretch marks not seen in the pic. I used tape to cover it on my last troop. I only realized these when i was retightening all the screws and nuts. I like it for accuracy and i dont mind. Left side: Right side: Quote
