Here is my armor . It is all trimmed and ready for the build tomorrow. Hopefully it will all get done and I will take pics along the way and post them.

Sadly the build did not go as smooth as expected. We got the bucket done, both biceps, one forearm, the shoulder straps on and snaps onto the shoulder bells, chest and back plates at the shoulders. We will finish up next Saturday.

It was actually just yesterday, minus the trimming. I had all the trimming done and with his expertise he and I both thought it would pretty much be done. We ran into several assembly tools, (i.e. adhesive and snaps) problems.

Tube stripes look a little low to me, and your vocoder paint seems a bit messy.

Yeah, I think so too. I didn't put either on, my buddy did. Paint I can probably get off but the stripes will have to stay. Don't want to try and remove them or buy new ones.

It helps to outline the area you're planning on painting with a pencil to get the right shape you want.

Redo on the Vocoder

Vocoder looks much better now, but you should really consider moving those tubestripes up.

The tubestripes should be about 1cm away from the ridge.

I did an hilariously bad photoshop to show what I mean:

for now the stripes are what they are. trooperbay said the ESB stripes only come with the whole set and i'm not going to pay for another set just to raise them up. one day i will but for now they stay.

Progress was made! Only minor details left: ab buttons, hand guards, few snaps here and there...
