i have purchased a set of AP armor and i am 6'1 1/2 and i weigh around 150 will the gaps between the nees and back be too noticeable??? Someone told me that he was 6'3 and it fit fine (sorry i dont remember who offhand) was that due to modification? Also has anyone taken a dremmel or sandpaper to their AP helmets to get rid of the process of twisting the helmet on? And finally how do i delete old posts of the same question that i posted?

I'm 6'0 with TE2 so in a similar situation. There will be a bit of a gap, but there's not much to be done about it, and you'd be in the same situation with RT/FX (the latest FX thighs are in some ways worse, as they are now molded to have more room back there).

Alas, for anything other than an FX there really is nothing to be done about having to put the helmet on sideways. This is how the helmets are actually supposed to be.

I don't think you would have any better luck with any of the other armors out there, and your not that tall, so I don't think it will be that much of an issue :)

the thighs are about 14 & 3/4" long, and the shins are about 14 & 1/4" long

Well unless there's another 6'3'' guy in AP armor, I think that would be me :)

I didn't add anything to the armor, I'm using it with the precut lines that came with it.

I did enlarge the head hole to fit my head in more easily .. I must have taken off about 1 cm around .. it doesn't show at all, the trim fits now better and it's way easier to get fit it on!

Check my ANH armor thread if you want to see how the armor fits on me here:
