ObiHahn[TK] Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 I have made an observation that I think never popped up in any EIB/Centurion discussions: some people insist on using seperate ab plate buttons (the kind that are affixed via screws or such nonsense). Only painted ab buttons that are part of the vac-formed armor piece are accurate. I think these single screw-on buttons should not be allowed for Centurion or even EIB for that matter.
stormtrooperguy[501st] Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 The FX / AM armor does not have the buttons molded in, so to require molded in buttons for EIB would effectively block FX armor. In my opinion that's not a good idea. For Centurion I could see it, but EIB, to me, is all about making a trooping suit look really good. I think the distinction between molded in buttons and add-ons would be lost on just about anyone viewing the suit other than a prop replicator.
