Bushido Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Are those ANH Heroes and Stunts in that last pic? Hand guards and face frowns look that way. Quote
Rich330[TK] Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Aaaah, just at the right time! Just before I start my ROTJ weathering. Thanks, Jesse. Quote
TK_LEPER Posted October 13, 2011 Author Report Posted October 13, 2011 Are those ANH Heroes and Stunts in that last pic? Hand guards and face frowns look that way. Yep, probably grabbed it from their ANH B-Roll. Quote
PGHtrooper21 Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Is it me or is there two types of Stormtroopers on Endor? The ones on the At-At Platform with Luke and inside the Bunker have "Shiney" White" Armor and the Strormtroopers outside have "Dirty, Weathered" Armor? Andy Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Are those ANH Heroes and Stunts in that last pic? Hand guards and face frowns look that way. And the one in the middle wearing the Hero helmet is missing a hovi! Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) ------------- What's going on with this trooper's left shoulder bell? It looks like it's floating above his shoulder. Edited January 24, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
sskunky Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 When you see stuff like this you begin to realise how unnecessary we get sometimes. They really didn't care how they looked on set and it shows.......It was never supposed to be viewed in High Definition when it was made and the 6 foot rule applied. If you couldn't see it from 6 feet then it didn't matter If they knew we were going to watch it frame by frame in high def they would have had a heart attack trying to keep all the continuity flowing as it should nowadays........ :ninja: Quote

If you would put a original Screen worn suit from ANH, ESB, and ROTJ and have it next to a "EIB", "Centurion" suit built from us and ask which one was from the film. I would say that people would pick OURS! Because of our High Standard Levels and Attention to Details! Andy Quote

bt16 Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Haven't seen this mentioned before but has anyone ever noticed in the Emperor's arrival scene featuring the shot of the hundreds of troopers shown from above that the 4th trooper from the left, front row, with back to the camera (the TK looking up and to his right) had his head animated to look down and pan with the Emperor's party as thay pass? This is interesting as this particular trooper is part of the hand painted matte painting that was used to create the copious amount of troops needed for this shot. In the original 1983 version he does not move. It was a little add in for the Special Edtion from '97. Quote
MartinSivertsen[501st] Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 And this is your very first post on FISD? I must say. Quite the entrance Very nice screen captures by the way! Quote
TK3373[TK] Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Its interesting how bluray shows up the difference between the matt painted troopers as opposed to the real ones. I never really paid much attention before. Quote
troopermaster Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) I was just looking through the screen grabs and noticed this trooper on the far left has an ESB blaster, and the one in the middle of the image does too. It may be old news to some of the blaster guys on here, but I only just noticed it ---------- Edited January 24, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
bt16 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 ...First time posting...can't take credit for the screen captures, though. As we say in the States, "Long time listener, first time caller". Quote

Trooper Q2[TK] Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Thanks for sharing. I have to say the armor in this detachment looks far better than screen used or as good. Quote
