dashrazor Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 just got this footage off the bluray extras disk.. it has some great images of Luke's ANH hero suit.. i was a bit disappointed that they only provided the torso armor, but here's what i got so far Quote
SW1 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Yer this is going to help me out no end , like you say Mason shame the rest of the armour was not with it . i luv the way you can do the full 360 around the torso Quote
JoeR Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Thanks for sharing. Awesome to see this preserved. Joe Quote
Dirt McGirt Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 30+ years on and it doesn't look that bad, but it also doesn't look that great either. At any rate it is nice to be able to see the detail. Just wish the rest of it were there as well. Quote
Morphine Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 It appears as if the FISD has gone above and beyond LFL. Sa-weeeeeeeeeet! Quote
Turrican Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Cool. Saw the 360 ° shot from the Boba Fett.mmhh.. may i should buy me this box. Are there more of this costume shots on the discs? Quote
troopermaster Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 This is fantastic! Although I have already seen this suit in the archives CD's it's awesome to see a 360` veiw of it. Just look at that wonky right shoulder bell! Quote
Rich330[TK] Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 These are great, thanks. However, as I was discussing with Dennis the other day, the real interesting stuff on this suit is surely on the inside. How did they have to modify the strappign system after cutting off the edge of the chest and back where the brackets were fastened? Quote
Trooperman Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 looks like theres still a hint of Mark Hamills make up on the right shoulder strap, its very clear as Luke enters the detension cell and explains who he is! , Quote
TK-4510[501st] Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) You know,.. its very obvious to me now that the ab buttons and rivet covers were all negative vacuum formed using female bucks. I wonder if it still smells like trash compactor sludge! After watching the video it looks like the back is still attached as they other armors are, with screws. bjsavage7[TK] Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Wow! Its great to finally get a good look at this kind of stuff. The newly discovered Biker Scout details are also driving us mad over on BSN too. LOL. Quote
Stormy320 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 What was newly discovered about the Biker Scout? Quote

Yes Mike this is whats intriging me how was the back and chest plate attached ? as they were both cut at the botom you can clearly see the screws are there on the top of the kidney plate and i guess also on the butt plate also spotted some lovley gaffa tape on top of the right butt plate , but how was it for the chest and back plate Quote
BGHUNTER Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Good point on the abb buton plate being formed in to the mold! Quote
