ANH Hero helmet makers

ATA sells some in abs. Just make sure you ask for the hero ears.

Has the TM and VT original lineage?.I would like to know the history of these helmets.I am looking for a helmet derived from the original if it´s possible.

TM is fan made. VT's history is not really known, I think.

the only true hero with lineage as far as i know will be the the new EFX offering,

out of the fan stuff though i think the tm looks the best

Thanks for the info.A member here offered me an early VT hero helmet for $300.Is a good price and option?.I am not an expert with the hero version.

I know V.T. Is said to have recast, but I thought the Hero helmet he used to make wasn't a "recast"? I've never seen another hero helmet like it. I don't want start a debate on this thread. If you know it is or isn't just pm me the facts and details. I would like to know. Thanks

That looks like it's already in Hero configuration. Bubble lenses and 4 teeth. Only thing I can't make out are the ears.

Looks like you have only three teeth cut out per side, but kinda looks like a stunt frown. Usually Hero versions don't have that much paint on the frown (thinner and shorter), but like Alex said, you have bubble lenses already, you just need 3 bumped ears (if you have them, good).

Use a modeling iron to slowly (and VERY CAREFULLY) heat and depress it.

I'd suggest you that you get some new tube stripes as well, the ones you have right now are placed way too low. The appropiate spacing between the cheek and the stripes is similar to the width of a pencil

Yeah.I know.I´ll paint them with Humbrol colors using TK-4510 templates.
