KarinOlava Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 Well, hello there^^ and sorry for the rather crappy quality :/ we take what we have = one soso cellphone.. Yeah, I look like a girl from the back no matter what I do.. Ok, enough ego trip now.. ..really.. now.. and tell me what you think? <3 Quote
ObiHahn[TK] Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 That's a fine stormtrooper right there. Congrats on a very clean TM build! Quote
troopermaster Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 WOW!!! Karin, I wasn't expecting it to look this good on you. You have outdone yourself. Totally awesome build Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Shiny! That's one proper looking trooper right there Your FISD ego trip is well deserved. Quick question.... Do the tops of your thighs catch on the cod when you walk? Aloha, -Eric Quote
SW1 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Very nice Karin top shelf build there , and i hope you are now used to that e6000 , Karin can i just point out , and please dont take this the wrong way but i notice your helmet sits quite high , is it over padded inside ? . Quote
KarinOlava Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Aww, thank you guys so much! Paul, to hear that from you is a great compliment. I'm glad you like my build^^ And Stephen, it might be, yes, Will rework the entire inside padding the next following days. So no worries, I agree with you (although I have a rather long neck from the beginning..) Edited September 26, 2011 by Acima Quote
While Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Looks good! Looking forward to see you with it live on Saturday! Quote
SW1 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Cool Karin , i have seen a lot of troopers have the helmet really high , i cant talk i did the same myself when i built my TM put way to much padding in there plus had the helmet tilting forward to which did not help , but its a really easy alteration but dont go cutting your neck over it . Quote
KarinOlava Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 Again, no worries. Now comes the tweaking time. Getting the fit or the straps and padding just right Will proably remove all the padding from the top of the helmet in the end. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 That's how I have it. No padding on the top, just around the sides to keep it from turning and wobble. Quote
littledragon88[TK] Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Congrats!! The armor seem to fit you perfectly! Quote
KarinOlava Posted September 27, 2011 Author Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Sent in my pictures for approval last night and today I got a lovely email from NG's GML.. I'm in! And special thanks to Mathias who have been there to answer all the questions I couldn't find answers too ^^ Still got some bits here and there I'll rework on the armor, so this thread will go on with updates and pictures. Locitus[Admin] Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Welcome! Also - you're welcome! It's been very enjoyable to help you with your build and see how beautiful it has turned out. Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Success was due to a lot of hard work and attention to detail on your part. This thread started in June. It shows what a person can achieve when they set their mind to it. Well done Quote
TKmAx Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Congratulations Karin, great build Quote
TK-7060 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Meh. Don't really see what the fuss is all about... So, yeah, it's a stormtrooper. Haven't we seen that way too many times already. Come on get a little creative. Just kidding, Karin. You know I think it looks ACE. You sure make the stormtroopers look good, with or without helmet. Looking forward to seeing you live. Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Really nice Stormtrooper build Karin... Quote

TKmAx Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Sent in my pictures for approval last night and today I got a lovely email from NG's GML.. I'm in! I am so jealous of this post lol, 12 hour clearance!! Apparently we have quite a Q Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 A good costume also takes less time to approve as you don't need to find all the faults and show them to the applicant for correction. Quote
