Mark and I have donated a set of CfO ROTJ Stormtrooper Armour which the talented folks of the UK Garrison will be assembling and giving away in a charity raffle this weekend at the National Space Centre in Leicester, UK.

Entry to the raffle is just £2!

May the Fourth be with you!

Thanks to Gary Hailes for organising this. Have a great weekend folks...

Ps: Thanks to Paul aka TM for altering our logo and using it as a signature without telling us on the MEPD! You can see Paul's handy work below! :D

I cant seem to find a way to enter either.

Sorry fellas I believe that you have to be there in person to enter. As it's for charity we thought it was worth mentioning here. :D

I've just got back from a great day with the UKG at the Space Centre in Leicester. I took my weathered TK up there fro morel support and met Pete(Stuka), Billy (Billhag), Gary(Batman89), Mark(Fireblade), John Danter and all the other guys.... Had a ball, thanks everyone for being so welcoming.....

It was great seeing kids eyes light up at seeing there heroes and foes in the flesh, must do it again soon.....:)

Great to meet you finally Mark!

Many thanks for donating this sir. Many to the the 'build a TK' lads for taking this on.

It's a really great way to get people interested in what we do :)

Glad you enjoyed seeing what we can do Mark ;)

In a way you're helping put a smile on kids faces

Gutted I was not able to drag myself and the rest of the VR squad up . :(

Sadly other commitments took precedent.

I hope the build was well documented. Good on you Joe and Mark for the donation. B)

P.S The builder in the pic is Colin (HeathrowTrooper). I "think" he is a member here.

I managed to get to the National Space Centre and bought a few tickets. Don't think I will win but it's for a good cause.

The suit looks fantastic in the flesh and if I ever decide to do a TK it will probably be one of these.

I think it should be open to all yeah.

It's all for charity. Ask Gary, as Joe said :)

PS: I wasnt building the suit. I just supplied a spare set of eyes to the lads

I'm sure that we can arrange tickets for anyone that wants them - the draw is on August 28 so there is plenty of time- I'll get some details and post asap.

Posted this in the FISD Facebook page as well. Very generous donation and for a very worthy cause.
