Battery box/ belt feed cover DLT-19

I am puting the final touches on my DLT 19 and need the measurements for the battery box (if that is the right name for it) if not....the box that covers the belt feed slot. I will post pics after I find these measurements and build the box. This is sweet!!!

its not exact, but i did measurements in photoshp on my last build and i got roughly around 1-3/8" to 1 1/2" wide and 3-3/4" to 4" long

 

the largest ammo this gun can use is 3.2283" long so the box would have to be slightly longer than this to cover the ejection port.

Whoa!!!! That feed cover made from the project box seems a bit oversize. But the other link with the screen used DLT is what I will go with. Thanks to all for the info!!!

that project box is a little big... eh? I agree!

 

should be scaled to the photo of the screen used prop.

The one I made for my dlt19 is 1 3/8 x 4 1/4.

That looks sweet....so does the MG 34! Looks like the real deal there. I couldn't get a real one...had to scratch build mine but Hopefully the troops will approve.
