BananoPower22[TK] Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Looking good! Do ICNs wear their pauldron and take off the right shoulder bell? Quote
dashrazor Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 looking good Steven! i would like to see close up shots of the helmet. showing the green lenses, hovi tips ect.. also you will need an action shot for your EIB profile a E11 or the se14r will work for this if you cant get your flamethrower.. as for fixes needed for EIB you will need to make a few small changes. for one you need to have both shoulder bells on. and you also need the molded edge around the butt plate also the molded edge is not installed correctly in some areas. you need to trim off the return edges like seen below to make it look as it should it also looks like the shin overlap is backwards on your right shin. that should be fixed as well Quote
stevechewbacca[501st] Posted April 18, 2011 Author Report Posted April 18, 2011 Hi Mason, Thanks for your answer ^^ I think I can make some of those changes during the week. I just have a little question about the right shoulder bell : it's not in the game (replaced by the pauldron bell), is it needed for centurion too ? In fact, I don't want to make some changes that are not asking for centurion (or not allowed for centurion) as Centurion is my next goal If it is needed for centurion too, I'll try to find a bell as soon as possible of course About the shin guard, I don't have any over lap on the right (I'll add one as I did for the thights ^^) Quote
dashrazor Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 the problem with not wearing the shoulder bell is it is impossible to get a regular pauldron to bend like it does in the screenshots.. (trust me i tried everything i could think of ) even if you bend the pauldron it still looks really lop sided without the bell under it .. also too much black shows from the back. it should be there for base CRL standards,EIB,centurion.. perhaps if one could make a very custom pauldron that matches the shape of the bell. but that would be pretty hard to pull off and still be able to move your arms Quote
stevechewbacca[501st] Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Posted April 19, 2011 Ok ! I understand ^^ I'm thinking of making a pauldron from scratch to match exactly the game for a next future but not for now I put the trims on the butt piece and cut the return edge of the kidney yesterday. I'll do the same for the chest tonight. I just have to find a shoulder bell to finish all the work I've got to do Quote
TK-2126_MD[TK] Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Looking good!!!! waiting for the up dates pics!!!! Quote
stevechewbacca[501st] Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Let's go for second try ! ^^ I made all the modifications asked during the last weeks. I also modified my pauldron (really hard to do but I'm proud of it... ) I hope this time is the good one. Like the last time, I don't have my flamethrower, I have to get it back during the week so I made the pics with my SE-14R blaster. Let the pics talking : The details : All the shooting is here : shooting pics Thanks guys ! I'm crossing my fingers really hard Quote
dashrazor Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 looks great Steve! could you fix the new shoulder bell? it is rotated to the front quite a bit. other than that minor adjustment you are good to go. Quote

Thanks Mason ^^ Well, it moves a little bit when I move but I don't know if I really can fix it. Have I to fix it now for EIB (when I wear the armor, it is well placed, it just move a little when I move a lot my arms) ? Can I make some pics with only the top of the armor to show you this ? Quote
dashrazor Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 "Can I make some pics with only the top of the armor to show you this ? " yes!. no need to fully suit up Quote
TK6466[TK] Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 You right sheen guard is still closed the wrong way :-( but your almost there ;-) Quote

I'll make the pic in the next few hours ^^ You right sheen guard is still closed the wrong way :-( but your almost there ;-) Well, as I explained, the shins I have can't be closed the right way : their shape made me having to close them as I did. That's why I add a plastic sheet on the right one : to make it as accurate as I can. I tried to close them the right way, this creates a lot of holes between the 2 parts and, with some fixations, it doesn't stay in place I explained that the first time I tried to get EIB status : I modified the piece to get a good looking...
