HELMET TO ARMOR MATCHING

FELLOW TROOPERS, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS BOUGHT ARMOR FROM ONE VENDOR AND A HELMET FROM ANOTHER VENDOR AND DO THEY MATCH UP AS FAR AS COLOR GOES? I BOUGHT A LID OFF E-BAY( I KNOW I SHOULD'NT HAVE) I'M INTERESTED IN A T/MC KIT AND MY HELMET IS A VT. I WAS WONDERING HOW CLOSE THEY'LL MATCH OR BE WAY NOTICEABLY OFF? I APPRECIATE THE INPUT.

A lot of troopers wear helmets and armour from different makers - and some match more in colour than others. If its only a small difference i see no problems. You will have to wait and see when it all arrives to be sure..

all of my helmets do not match my armor. its barely even noticeable. in sunlight as well.

I've even seen armor sets that have slightly different color pieces! I feel it adds to "authenticity"

With some of the armor it has to with flash photography. I have the MR helmet and to the naked eye or non flash photography it looks the same shade as my armor. BUT with a flash there is a definite difference in color. Not sure why that happens?
