TD cannister colour

Im about to build mine, could i ask please what colour grey is used, and if it is gloss grey?

I might be wrong but i believe it was just common grey pipe (uk)that had vac formed bit added.

spayed mine with a grey primer then i'm gonna use a clear lacker on it to give it a shine.

I think Chefhawk has hit the nail on the head on this one, personally i used the Humbrol #5 to match the ab plate buttons, but use whatever is best for you.....

thanks guys, fbj where did you get the clips from?

hoping to get the td can done by the time my fbj belt arrives.

I got those clips from Jarrolds of Norwich but last time i checked for a fellow trooper they nolonger sold them

 

Check out your local department store or market, they are still quite popular, you belt will be in the post at the weekend as thats the only time i can get in there atm

no probs fbj, what were the clips called so i can pick some up?

 

also the td cannister i have has been cut a bit wonky so it doesnt line up at all, i will have to overlap the edges to get them to fit.

The TD did not have the canister on there belt

Its the TK that uses the canister .
