FIVE[501st] Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 How does the belt snap onto the ab plate? Where's a good reference shot? I pretty much know what the ab plate part looks like, but what about the snaps on the belt part? And what about attaching the canvas part to the belt part? (I've never done this correctly and want to this time.) Quote
TKRobert Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Here's mine...the snaps above the dropboxes are attached to the plastic ammo belt. I just used a piece of velcro in the middle. The two upper snaps connect to the ab plate. Quote
FIVE[501st] Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Posted February 26, 2011 Thanks guys! That's what I had in my mind, but I wanted to double check. Quote

firebladejedi[TK] Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Here's a good ref pic Here's the snap on the body Quote
TK Keith[TK] Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Do people suggest putting the snap directly through the armor, or making a snap plate and gluing that on? Quote
Mogwai[TK] Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 I put mine directly through the armor. I don`t know anybody who uses Snap Plates for that, but maybe. Quote
Evilboy[501st] Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 What kind of snaps are the best? Quote
bobojuice Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Depends on what you like. If you're going uber accurate, they are like the ones in firelbadejedi's post, but if you just want strength and don't want to search high and lo for the perfect ones, since they wont be showing anyway, I just use Line 24 snaps. You can find them at Tandy, however I get mine off eBay. You can save a bundle getting it from there. I usually buy packs of 100-200. Quote
