I took apart my Arai helmet last night for my Republic Commando. Unfortunately, there isn't any usable padding. Just thought I would give the heads up if that's what you have. I only used mine because I wrecked in it. Quote

tmcp51d Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I get used kids batting helmets and use the guts for liners....works great. TMC Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Another EZ way is to get a skateboarders/BMX helmet or canoe helmet and use the liner/pads. You can also find just the replacement liner/pads sold separately... Look at your local Sporting Goods / Outdoor Camping store and Bike Shops. ---------- Edited February 10, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed Quote

I do have some of those miltary pads, pulled them out of my dads helmet he brought back when he got home from Iraq, those things (to me) feel very uncomfortable, they feel like cloth covered bricks. Hi Peter I doubt you will get a reply as Mason hasn't been on the forums since Feb 2019. This is a thread from 2011 so some items may no longer be available, here are some newer threads on padding Quote
