Kirby Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 OK I have tried looking at some pictures, and I thought that there was something on here about it, however, I cant find it. Anyways are the ears supposed to be straight up and down (give or take) like in this picture or should the be rotated a little more forward like the arrow is supposed to be showing. I hope you understand what I was trying to get across with the arrows... thanks Quote
Guest jedislayer5000 Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 in the movies they are in various positions, some very forward some back... it really depends on what helmet your trying to make, or whatever naturally fits best imo Quote
troopermaster Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Leave the bottom where it is and tilt the top circular part 1/2" forward. It will look better than where you have it now in my opinion Quote
john danter Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Yeah they all move about. I think it might depend on how the backplate was cut off the mould. As the ears purpose is to cover the seam and provide some support. But yes to what Paul said, tilting them forward gives them a nice profile Quote
