snoberg Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 What paint is correct for the ESB frown, a lot of the pictures I have seen make it look very matte, not quite a flat black but definitely not the testors gloss enamel I used on my ANH helmet. Quote
poisonfox Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 I used Testors flat black and it looks great, but Humbrol Satin Black is the best from what I've heard. Quote
troopermaster Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 I use Humbrol #85 Satin Black for the frown and vocoder on the ESB helmets. Quote
snoberg Posted October 24, 2010 Author Report Posted October 24, 2010 On a side note, are ANH vocoders supposed to be gloss black? Quote
FIVE[501st] Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 I use Humbrol #85 Satin Black for the frown and vocoder on the ESB helmets. Cool... I was just about to ask this. Quote

FIVE[501st] Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 Apparently there isn't a testors "satin"... but I'm heading to the hobby store in a few minutes... so we shall see. Ā I'll do flat if they don't have satin. Or just black satin in some other brand. Quote
