Voice amplification

What are you guys using for voice amplification? Any tips??

 

I want to be able to sound like the "move along" "how long have you had these droids" guy...

 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Just like Billy and Matt said above, Rom FX. It's got that mono radio sound with a static burst at the end.

And to quantify the statement:

The largest and busiest ( not to mention accuracy obsessed ) garrison in the 501st Legion is almost 95% Rom FX equiped.

 

What greater recommendation could you ask for?

For my three costumes I use the following on each:

 

TK: hyperdyne card with aker voice amp

 

TX: RomFX card with aker voice amp

 

Gunner: aker voice amp with a PTT cable.

 

All three systems work really well. You can't go wrong with any of them. Just depends on how much you want to spend...
