Dimo[TK] Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Hi all, I received my big brown box from AP recently and have found a little time to start my build. I want to do ESB and in my research i've not found the differences between ANH and ESB armor, I know the helmets are different but the armor itself seems to be the same to my untrained eye. The handplates are different but aside from that am I missing something? Can i just follow along with Stuka or Panda's builds, get new handplates do an ESB lid and call it a day? your patience is appreciated, -TK-Wannabe Quote
Veedox Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 ESB armor looks like ANH armor because it is ANH armor. They simply refurbished around a dozen or so ANH suits for ESB. The main differences would be: the handplates, and holster location/strapping on the belt. So, YES, to answer your question. Quote

I had another look after posting and found 2 posts that say as much. and i always thought i was good at research <_< Quote

tkrestonva[TK] Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 The neat thing is that for a small amount of additional time/effort/money (not counting that you'll need a different helmet and blaster), you can build your kit such that you can do either ANH or ESB, switching between the two as you see fit. You should work with Terry to get that pinned & added to the Academy. A picture is truly worth 1000 words. Quote
