jjliver Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Working on my build with the Hasbro and was wondering what everyone does about the electronics. Keep them or remove (disable) them? Thanks!! Quote
ObiHahn[TK] Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I always thought the electronics were the only reason people bother to mod these toys...what else do they have going on for them? The look rather cheapo and inaccurate IMHO, no matter how much modding and repainting is done. Quote
NoVATie[Admin] Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I left mine intact. I wish they didn't make the screaming eagle/tie fighter sound and that they only made the blaster noise, but oh well. Quote
Quebectrooper Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I left mine intact. I wish they didn't make the screaming eagle/tie fighter sound and that they only made the blaster noise, but oh well. i kept mine and added a louder speaker. Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I say leave the electronics in. It's a great little blaster for troops that i don't mind handing to kids to let them play with. I wouldn't hand out my PVC pipe build blaster. More accurate, but too fragile. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 that screaming eagle sound is actually a blaster sound taken from the detention block scene where han solo hits the wall with a powerful blast. I tend to think that the hasbro blaster sounds are: 1. blaster normal fire. 2. wall hit. so if you hold down the trigger you can get several "shots" with number 1. and then you just hold down the button after releasing it, and then you can get the "wall hits" to repeat... Chunk[501st] Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I left my sounds in. On my original mod(black version) I even left the red "windows" so you can see the laser fire when trigger is pulled. The other white version has the sound, but "windows" covered with Ttrack. Quote
