Sonnenschein Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 With correctly trimmed frown holes, should there remain a "return edge" on the inside? thanks, Karin Quote
JoeR Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) On one original HDPE helmet, it is squashed back inside (literally pushed down) it appears that they didn't want anything to show from the outide, then again as most original helmets differ so much in assembly I'm sure some were done differently, on the original JEDI helmets I owned it was just filed down. TK bondservnt[501st] Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 wow joe! those are great photos! I always like to leave a small return on the lips of the inside of the teeth. making the cutouts all the same depth if you can. it gives the teeth a little depth. Quote
