Quebectrooper Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 My AP stunt helmet has 4 cut teeth and i'm building an ATA right now for a friend but i cut 5 holes. Should i keep only 4 holes and fill that 5th one or follow www.starwarshelmets.com i see some with 5 holes? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 The CRL says 8 teeth in total for all but the ANH hero helmet which says 6 teeth in total. But that's all I can really say... Quote
SuperTrooper Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Remember the CRLs are guidelines, not hard requirements. A stunt helmet with 10 teeth cut is still more that 501st worthy. Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 O' NO!!!!!!!!! not the five teeth!! I keed! I keed! If you are doing a stunt lid, most were 4 per side but it did vary from 3 to 5 ..... Me thinks Ainsworth needed to slow down a wee bit when SDS origially made them back in '76. But then, we would not have the lovely wonked lids...... Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Anything from 6-10 teeth for a stunt helmet Quote
TK_LEPER Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought I spotted a screen used lid with 9 teeth cut. Like they did 5 on one side, and said "naw." So they only did 4 on the other. Quote
