I downloaded the mp3 from the 501st site but it is corrupt.

501st forums is the only place to get them. Try downloading the files again.

I downloaded them 3 times from 3 different browsers (chrome, IE and Firefox)

with no luck and same error. The properties of the mp3 file says 00:00 in length.

 

I also downloaded other sound files and they work great.

 

Is anyone willing to zip up their working file?

Most likely it needs to be re-uploaded again. Possibly crashed due to many downloads? It won't download for me either, "stormtrooper" one wont. Others download fine

I just downloaded the mp3 from the 501st site and it is working for me.  Used Chrome, Right clicked on the link, chose "save as" and it downloaded fine.  I'm listening to it now.

the link at the top of this page still works, tk file confirmed working. i noticed skutch added a few more like the droids n such too, but the gonk file is broken

Even on my PC the browser plays the file but there is no way to download or save the file.

did you right click on the link for the file you want and select Save Target As?

I am still waiting for my status to be changed on 501st forum.  Is there any way I can get the file sooner?  I'd like to start messing with my shuffle.  could someone send it to me or maybe it's here on FISD somewhere?

Hope you were able to get it.  If not, or if anyone else sees this, I had the same problem.  Right clicking the link wouldn't give me the option to save it.  Left click (open it and listen to it).  When it's open and playing (in my case in a separate window), right click on the new page.  It gave me an option there.
