Bobby_Boucher Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Hello, I am having a problem keeping my thigh pieces from sliding down my leg, what would be the best way to keep them up on my thigh? Quote

RBJ[501st] Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I have a belt set up like Steven pictured...now my thighs AND belt slide down...may have to add some type of suspender set up... Quote
Scott M.[TK] Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I modeled my belt after Steven (Ruf Terrain) and have had 100% success with it. Works great, can be adjusted on the belt and the connectors, and is very well hidden. This would be my suggestion. Quote
1226[501st] Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Excellent solution, although perhaps a bit complex. Most of the Polish Outpost simply have the thighs strapped to the underside of the ab plate, that's also what I did to mine. The strap is elastic and already stretched, so that it keeps pulling the thighs up. I didn't get to test if this will actually work over longer times and distances with my heavy fiberglass armor, though. I might just go for this idea eventually, too. Looks really good! Quote

jrbell Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I currently have my setup similar to Wojciech and noticed that my ab piece keeps having to be pushed up. Hadn't thought of it, but maybe that's the reason. Quote
Boozel Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I have one similar also. this is how mine is: Ab clips thigh clips On the back of the thighs and back plate runs a piece of black elastic to keep my thighs fom turning and sitting croocked. Boozel Quote
RBJ[501st] Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I think I'll give that a shot...you're a life saver ( thigh saver?) , Boozel!! Quote
Boozel Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 I think I'll give that a shot...you're a life saver ( thigh saver?) , Boozel!! BTW, the straps you see in mine are webbing, just the back straps are elastic. Glad you like, and very glad to help out ! Boozel Quote
