PGHtrooper21 Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I don't know if this was tought of, tried or used before. Here is a mod that might help out troopers who gain or lose in their mid section or for connecting the ab and back piece. This idea popped in my mind a few weeks ago. I thought of this by looking at my hockey Helmet. There is something on a hockey helmet that can be of help in assembling or modding the ab section of the armor. If you are going to use snaps on the abb for EIB or for support. You have to get some "Heavy Duty Snaps" and a "Snap Fastiner" or use the "Hammer Pin" tool to connection them together or you can use screws. On the Hockey Helmet you have two straps that connect the "Face Mask" to the "Helmet". On the ends of the "Straps" are two "Adjustable Fastiners" that connect to the metal snap to hold the helmet in place. Also, I discoverd a adjustable "Chin Strap" from "Addias" that is used on Baseball Helmets. I think this is a plus because the straps are adjustable and the screws are removable. I have not tested the fastners on the snaps that I have. I found this at "Dicks Sporting Goods" store here in Western Pennsyvania. You can look for them if you have a Sporting goods store that sells Hockey Equiptment or a Hockey Supply store. I hope this helps out. Andy Quote

You can order the screws and the kit here with other accessories. ----- Edited December 5, 2020 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2020 Quote
