PGHtrooper21 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I have been searching. Can anyone point me to the link of the size of the ANH Back Cover Finishing Strips? Thanks. Andy Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I believe front and backs of thighs and shins are 20mm - 25mm (depending on what fits you, but I think the screen accurate guess is 20mm) The arms are 15mm. Quote
unheard Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) please tell is this for the straps ? as I hope its for the suit. please tell can you tell me more screen accurate measurements you said arms is the the bicep or forearm ? Edited April 13, 2010 by unheard Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Does this clear things up? ANH cover strips (the finishing strips on the front and backs of limbs) - Biceps (front and back) 15mm - Forearms (front and back) 15mm - Thighs (front and back) 20mm - Shins (front and back) 20mm Most people try to use screen accurate measurements for the front, and the same measurements if possible on the back. If they have bigger limbs, they try to shim the back with a wider strip. If that's still not big enough, then the front and back are equally shimmed if possible, again depending on your limb size. unheard Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 please tell me what about chest ,back plates and cod ? Quote
PGHtrooper21 Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 is this the width ? The "Finishing\Covering Strips" are the strips that cover the seams where you glue the armor together. Andy Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Yes, these are the width of the strips. The length depends on how you cut your armor and what type it is. Some are longer, some are shorter. I'm not sure what you need when you're asking for "please tell me what about chest ,back plates and cod ?" You might want to clarify with more detail, but there are no "measurements" foe these pieces. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 (edited) TK dueno says: Back of shins: 25mm finishing strips the front of the thighs at 20mm but the back of the shins and thighs should be larger than the fronts. ----- if you make the covering strips too large, and you trim the parts incorrectly you might end up with a strange looking set of parts. if you look at the screen used dimensions of the parts in question you will find several different types of trimming were used on the same parts.
