Did the price go up? I thought they were $499 around Christmas time.

They're 500 shipped from him directly (contact by email), without a helmet, 650 + shipping on ebay. 650 shipped with helmet from him directly.

This ones only $250 with helmet... obviously a recast, any clues on origin? Looks like a TE helmet to me.

Its a recast of TE2 armor. In thin .60g HIPS.

Yep thats VT armor too. Just without the VT helmet. It has an MRCE in place of the VT helmet. Just another example of costume junkie cutting corners to increase his profit margin. VT has good armor these days. I heard he was secretly a well respected member of the FISD, too bad he won't come forward.
