SirDenzington89 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Today started out alright. Slept in till 1. Woke up and decided to work on my build. Almost done BTW. Anyway I was trying to carefully remove one of the strips from the back of the shins to move it more to the right to match the other one. All of a sudden... RIPPPP Instead of freaking out I remembered that I had extra plastic for strips I got out my clamps and glue and sand paper and went to work and here you go, it isnt perfect but when I put the strip over it no one will no the difference, cept you guys Hopefully all works out, I was really stressin Edited February 1, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photos updated gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
FIVE[501st] Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Ah man... yeah, this stuff will give you an Imperial sized ulcer if you let it! Just know that it can work out! Take it slow from here on out. I'd put another strip on top of that one so it's covered. Quote

Yes sir, that is what I plan to do, even tho it overlaps im putting strips on the back of both shins, so that little nasty area will be covered anyway, and the glue I used creates a really strong hold so Im not worried about it coming apart Quote

SirDenzington89 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Report Posted March 7, 2010 it was tough not to but I knew it wouldnt fix anything. Ill post the picture when I finish the shin totally Quote

RogueTrooper[TK] Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 oooh, that hurts, but like Noel said, it can be fixed. With another strip, some putty, sanding and paint, you'll never know it happened. Quote
