SW1 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 It's gorgeous! Question: the helmet is already assembled, did you pay extra for that? Thanks for your stormy veiws on my armour guys its much appricated, first i am going to complete the lid once i have stoped stearing at the armour , just need to do a few tweeks here and there, and Ryan yes i had to pay a bit extra for paul to assemble the lid rather have the master do it because i did not want to balls this up on a top qulatiy lid, plus seeing this is my 2 tk build, ok i will post pics when i have the lid complete. SapaWanmdi Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 This is just incredible. I got a reply from TM for my armor today, so I should have my own set to cover in drool around April or so! The lid is just beyond words. I just have a few noob questions What is the piece with the 3 buttons on it? on the bottom, directly to the right of the ab plate? Did TM include strips to glue over the joins on places like the shins/thigh, or do you have to purchase those separately? Quote
troopermaster Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Jim, The piece with the 3 buttons on is the part for the belt rivet covers. You need to cut them to 1" squares then glue to the plastic ammo belt once it's been fitted to the canvas. Joining strips are included with the kit Quote
TKDUEUNO Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) Just kidding! I LOVE it! I remember that sweeet sensation when opening the box, and the thrill of laying all the pieces on the floor, begging me to do them justice with a proper assembly! You'll have a blast with this, enjoy it, man!!! Edited February 19, 2010 by TKDUEUNO Quote

SapaWanmdi Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 What does the black inner liner do? I've seen some people paint it black, others leave it white - there must be some reasons, or people wouldn't go through the effort of doing it Quote

I've seen some people paint it black, others leave it white - there must be some reasons, or people wouldn't go through the effort of doing it Hi Jim the liner is slightly padded so the reason i have done it is for comfort but it can be easely removed if i find i get to hot.or i could just add fans i surpose but dont know yet Quote
SapaWanmdi Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Oh! and I thought that was just paint. I was planning on pads and fans, but let me know how this works Quote
