stukatrooper Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Rolf i have said this many times before ,you seem to take your art to the next level every time a new suit roles out of the work shop mate. You got the bar raised so high you can just stroll right under. Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Hey Rolf, you have some excellent pix, but seeing your TD in cold weather with snow all around, just didn't seem right... so I moved you to a warmer planet, just on the outer rim of a galaxy far, far away... Exactly where a TD wants to be. All done here guys, but still no droids.... How long have you had these droids? Look mum, I'm on a Topps card now!! Quote

Rolf[501st] Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 Thanks trooper. Yeah a few love my suits, and my passion for the ANH tk/td suits. I can´t wait to troop in it, for the fist time whit the garrison asap. I can see you are from Sweden, so maybe i see you one day too in it. Here a few pics of the monster, on my home made full size doll. A piece of art in the living room. Cheers Quote
LJJNL Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Here a few pics of the monster, on my home made full size doll. A piece of art in the living room. Great armor. Looks awesome! May I ask, how did you make the 'full size doll'? Quote
Rolf[501st] Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 Great armor. Looks awesome! May I ask, how did you make the 'full size doll'? Thanks trooper I made it out of goose metal net, first the chest belly area. Then the arms, and legs, head to be add on (sew then on whit metal wires). Then i give the metal doll cloth on. Then i just take some cardboard/thick sand color paper, whit glue on. And a bucket whit hot water. I then cut a lot of strips out of the role. And just to cover the hole buddy, let it dry for a day or two. Take the under suit, neck seal on it. And BOOM!!! you got as trooper living in your living room, to stand guard every day. Lovely, and cheap method way too Quote

Yeah, I'm new here, but I hope to bee ready to troop by the end of the year or sooner. What I've understood is that Stockholm scifi-convention is pretty big within NG, so maybe I'll even meet some non swedes there? Quote
