  1. Money is an issue for all of us - but as some like to say "buy once, cry once". Save for what you really want instead of upgrading later. 99% of the time, all that ebay has are FX recasts, regardless of the seller. And like Keith said, if there is a non-FX suit up on the bay for sale, it will probably be available on the forums first.
  2. Both updated. Benton, I guess I missed your post earlier, sorry about that.
  3. These are the pics I was waiting for, great job Rolf!
  4. The FX is 501st approvable, and at one point was the only option for armor - that's not the case anymore. As others have said, for another $200 or so, you can get a more screen-accurate setup. Sure, you can buy FX with the plan to upgrade later, or you can "buy once, cry once" for something more accurate. The choice is really up to you. The one caveat when buying used armor though is that since it has already been trimmed and assembled, it may not fit you without modifications. If you're set on buying the kit, I'd find out the seller's dimensions to see how much you may have to trim or add to the kit to make it fit you.
  5. Impressive work as always, Rolf
  6. Happy Birthday
  7. That may be the case, his stuff does look good. However, like I said, I've always seen it take a long time for people to get their products. I think Rolf was trying to get some armor a while ago and I'm not sure if he ever did. Maybe things are different for the Snowy armor. Hopefully you can procure a good contact number or at least an email and be able to have progress updates.
  8. I have never dealt with him, but I have not seen any positive interactions from others that have. It seems like every purchase I've heard about involves people waiting forever with little or no communication from Dan Laws. I know one of our members had an issue: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18465&hl=dan%20laws&st=0 but it looks like it got resolved. Still...
  9. Be prepared to hold it, or be prepared to strip out of most of the suit to use the restroom. If you get creative with the cod and your strapping it may be easier to relieve yourself without removing everything.
  10. Some troopers let the shins ride a little higher than others especially if they have long legs and want to cover some of the black undersuit that would otherwise show through between the top of the shin and their knee. If you're 6' or under you'll probably be okay with them low on the boots. I'd see where how they fit after the front cover strip and go from there. Don't forget about our tutorials http://www.whitearmo.../Tutorials-legs
