If it has screen lineage it suppose to be warped in specific areas, its pretty rare as most know what they are buying but I do have customers who email me asking for a replacement because they think its flawed then I sent them a bunch of pics and send them links to educate them on the screen used helmet lol!!! The armor seems like it was built to movie size specs and way too small for you, the armor side gaps are huge nothing they can do about that unless they add shims which I doubt, new AP armor can fit up to 41" waist no problem, not sure why they ask for pants size I always ask for waist size at belly level button level which is more accurate when fitting a armor. Great job so far, My shoulder straps are purposely made longer than the originals to fit a wider range of sizes, to be movie accurate you need to trim off the rear big bump including a small one, basically you should be left with 12 small tabs and the front big one, also from your photo the shoulder strap should sit much lower on the chest, the way I measure is that the 5th small bump is aligned with the chest top end parts (end section that is under the shoulder starps) hard to exlpain just shoot me a email and i will send you photos somehow im having problems posting photos. I don't think its your torso being longer than the usual person, at 46" belly and 44" chest thats more likely the issue, your AB and kidney plate are too far apart so the chest isn't properly in place creating the gap, also I assume you will need 2-3 " shims on each the sides to close gaps?

I would cut at the red line and throw that section away, glue extension with new holes so you only have to deal with one seam line instead of two but good luck finding a color matching plastic. Mark (AP)

TK Question: Best replacement for AM chestplate
ABS80 replied to Chrranke's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
what is your chest size? I think any movie accurate size chest will fit you, to be honest that AM looks too big on you Mark (AP) -
wetsand using 1000 grit, then finish off with 1500 grit, dont' be alarmed if plastic becomes dull its normal then use any car compound scratch/swirl remover or novus plastic polish to restore shine. Mark (AP)

ABS80 replied to Jyanixqel's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
do not seperate the cod plate you can trim the 4 button plate a bit more. Mark (AP) -
you also need to cut out the teeth bigger, still too much material around.

That why I always tell my customers to get the cheap ones at Walmart, no matter the quality they will get ruined within a few troops Mark (AP) -

AP ANH Stunt Build-- March to EIB!

Hi Lindsay, All the correct screws are included in the kit, they were in the same ziplock bag with all the other helmet hardware, the two smallest nuts and bolts are for attaching the face plate to cap/back and the 6 flat slotted screws for the ears, The AP decals are centurion approved. Mark (AP) -
Easy Fix, just glue it on a thin piece of abs to create the lip, I will check the shop if I have a extra one for you Mark (AP)
-
You need to remove more material around ears, too thick especially on round section, also frown holes need to be bigger.
-
the gaps are perfect!!! you actually did a better job than me lol! trim off more off eye slots until no lip is visible and you can also remove more for frown holes otherwise perfect!!!! Mark (AP)

Humbrol better for airbrush, testors better coverage with a paintbrush. I prefer one thick coat when using a paintbrush, just try to work fast, paint will self level uniformally for a perfect smooth finish, less strokes the better, the many years of model building/painting experience paid off Mark (AP)

TK71969 requesting ANH Stunt Centurion status [Anovos] [324]
ABS80 replied to Shanester's topic in Request Centurion Status
the added grey painted frown tips is incorrect, should be a empty space which is a uncut tooth then add the grey tip. You can see what I mean here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35434-ap-new-kit-photos/ -
The thin green film is movie accurate, thats what the screen used helmets had.
