  1. Can I proceed with offering this armor???
  2. So...are they ony going to make 100 helmets? That numbering makes me wonder....
  3. replied topics are not sent to me. Need "view active content" back. My avatar is gone.... Oh, the humanity!!
  4. Well I think that will work for "new" content. But what about old content that is active?? Like a post that was made 2 weeks ago that people are still commenting on. I just noticed too, that this post- even though there has been responses- has not emailed me notifying me of responses....I just happened to notice that you guys replied. ALSO- lost my pic
  5. Reshaping the tops of the thighs and off centering the cod stripe will come soon. Its still a work in progress and by no means "final" yet. Thanks for your suggestions and comments
  6. Firefox in the shop and Safari in the house.
  7. All image links broken so removed
  8. all links broken so removed
  9. Here it is. This is the very first test pull.
  10. Thanks for the positive words everyone. FISD can be the hotbed of critics or a bounty of friends. I prefer the latter I will be posting pics soon. Just have to geek out at Comic-Con this week first
  11. No. Just one set of molds. I did have to cast some parts again after modification to insure integrity though.. I see no need to save a set of untouched molds. I still have the armor if I need to start over again.
  12. Yes I added another 4 inches to the waist. I wear a 38 inch..
  13. I have produced the first prototype. I will post picks here after Comic-Con. The armor is based off the early CAP armor with many modifications. Helmet - Done Slightly smoothed and made to look more like the original Brian R helmet. Chest - Correctly widened at the base. Shoulder straps - More defined and curved Ab Plate - Resculpted ab button area and reliefs for side button panel, made deeper for bigger guys (me). Shoulder Bells - Made them deeper, but otherwise untouched. Forearms - Untouched other than making the holes sharper and making the mating areas fit better. Biceps - Made the tour bicep lines deeper to fit biceps better. Hand Guards - Untouched Butt and Kidney plate: Deeper. Back Plate - Untouched Thighs - Got rid of joining strip line in the backs so you can widen the thighs without having to use a huge strip of plastic. Shins - Cleaned up Kneeplate - Resculpted TD panel and end caps - Resculpted Belt and thigh boxes - made new more correct ones. Stay tuned!!! I estimate that I will start selling this armor immediately upon staff approval [EDIT] STAY TUNED!!!
  14. Yep water...I often leave important data out when I am talking during videos.. Sorry. You guys get it though. Yes One teaspoon of dishsoap to one full spray bottle of water.
  15. I have tried em all. I prefer CA+ Zap-a-Gap and Zip kicker because it only takes a few seconds to set. Seriously, I can assemble an entire set of armor in one day. If you screw up then too bad, too late.... Well.. you might be able to pull the parts apart if you act quickly...The smell when the glue kicks will burn your eyes if you are not in a well ventilated area and are holding the parts too close to your face. Wear gloves...it IS super SUPER glue. I like E-6000 but I dont have any need to pull parts apart and I dont make "many" assembly errors anymore. AND I have zero patience. It definitely is a close second for me and I know that many people prefer it. I like the rubbery feel and somewhat flexible feel it has. It smells pretty fowl too though.. ABS glue is cheap and works great...sometimes too great Plastic weld is great for some stuff.. Stinks
  16. Excellent!!!
