  1. I use CA glue on it all the time. A little goes a long way..
  2. I think I still have it somewhere. I could re-post. It was made in 2005
  3. Hilarious!! Thats my pattern
  4. Welcome to screen accurate wonky land
  5. You can also buy it from Seals + Direct in the UK. Its part #US52.
  6. Rustoleum Satin black enamel in a 32 oz paint can (not spray) is available at home depot. Part #7777 Its a lifetime supply of satin black enamel and I forget the price, but its under $8.00 I believe...(Dont hold me to that Tom) Humbrol and Testors do not make Satin Black enamel in their regular line. Testors "Model Masters" series does have Satin Black available in most hobby stores. Humbrol offers a coal satin bleack enamel that does not work - its too gray. Humbrol as an acrylic satin black but....its acrylic. Hope this info helps.

  8. Hey Tom, Just wanted to say thanks.
  9. Hey, I am sorry that you are so outraged at my wanting to make these helmet liners available at that price. I really am trying to make my business successful so I have to mark things up enough to make the work worthwhile and somewhat profitable. You seem very disturbed by this whole thing. You researched it and posted info....really went into detail. I dont know why you are busting my chops so badly. I posted the video so YOU could see HOW its done so YOU could go to HOME DEPOT and BUY the $6.00 hard hat (plus tax) and DO IT YOURSELF. ...If you dont want to do that, you can buy them pre cut at www. trooperbay.com for $15.00 plus shipping. All total its about $18.00 shipped US. ....or maybe Tom will do them for $12.00..lol...whatever. geez.
  10. yep dark green bubble for hero.
  11. Yes thats right. If you decide you cannot do it yourself, I can do it for you for a small fee. The hard hat is around $7.00 with tax included. I charge $8.00 for cutting the tabs out. - equals $15 Then I charge $3.00 for shipping (US) too.
  12. Sorry thats not even close to the one in the auction. The ears, frown, eyes and assembly are totally different.
  13. You have really made a special place Paul
  14. Sorry none yet, been too busy.
  15. Good enough for government work By the way, excellent job on the hand painting. Next time get my tube stripe masking templates and hand paint the entire thing
  16. if you mess up just PM me your address again and I will send you a replacement set
  17. The tube stripe decals are on the sheet the way they should be applied to the helmet. Left goes on the left side, right goes on the right. Before I made these "hand painted look": tube stripe decals, all tube stripe decals were identical. When I was making the Dave M decals I noticed that the Dave M helmet as well as other helmets had the tube stripes painted on irregularly. I noticed that the stripes varied in width and shape AND I noticed that as the stripes got closer to the chin they seemed to curve inwards more on the inside edges. So my tube stripes are made for left and right. You can kind of fix this mix up by removing the first and maybe second stripe from each side carefully and switching them.
  18. Looking good so far man. Be careful with that knife or you will slice your palm open like I did...
  19. eh how'd I get into this??
  20. Happy Birthday Vern!!
  21. TM already did his like that too. And yes you did mention that a couple of pages back. I will change it soon I am very grateful for all feedback. To be completely accurate will take some (alot) time. But I am very happy to make changes as I go along here. If you see something that needs attention let me know. There's alot that I want to change, but I want to make sure that I research the changes and it isnt my highest priority right now so when I get to it I will post pics of the modifications.
  22. I am surely willing to do that. I still have the CAP armor, albeit messy. Many parts are torn or cracked from the casting and there is hydrastone and duct tape all over them.
  23. OK. I will be pulling another set soon and when I do, I will take pics of that set untrimmed.
