  1. Are we at the point that we need a CRL model, or is there more work to be done on the wording first?
  2. I think I'm ready! I've found some wraps I'm happy with and I'm done painting and cracking this armor. Do we still need a CRL model? If so, what can I do to help?!
  3. I used gold leaf for the big areas and the cracks are done with a dremel and filled in with gold leaf paint
  4. I think I'm done with this unless something new comes out. I'm happy to work on the CRL and get something pushed through!
  5. What would you suggest the wording for cracks, slate gray and wraps would be? Would each armor piece have something like these statements? -Shall be heavily weathered -May have cracks painted gold. -May have areas painted gold or gold leaf -May have surface areas painted blue gray -May have red wraps around armor pieces. Red chiffon is most correct I've never helped with a CRL before so don't really know what I'm doing.
  6. I actually have those! The glowing effect wasn't very good though!
  7. I'm going to call this my Mk 1 lighting system. I'll have to find a way to avoid taping it to my face in the future, but the lights are great!
  8. Thanks! I actually prefer the fiberglass. I have a death trooper, sith trooper, mimban stormtrooper and used to have a mud trooper all from Jim. Love his stuff!
  9. It's actually a Jim Tripon kit, but thank you! Minor adjustments and corrections here or there are just part of it, so I'm used to that!
  10. It does look awful see through on the wraps that came loose. And the forearm on the trooper that is down looks to have some bulk to it. Maybe it was double wrapped
  11. I agree that it's hard to tell.. I'm no fabric expert, so I'll defer to people who are. Some of the screen shots, the fabric does look very see through, especially on the deathtrooper forearms. This is the wrong shade of chiffon, but it is super see through. I agree that doubled up is better, but is there any evidence of that on screen?
  12. Thanks! Adding it to the list!
  13. I almost was done with my anthology trooper and quickly diverted to a night trooper instead. I have more screen accurate fabric on the way and know that the td has gray on the side inserts. While waiting for those two and a crl, is there anything else noticeable?
