  1. Awesome! Thank you so much!!
  2. Hello all! Aspiring TK here! I was just reaching out for recommendations for an E-11 prop. I have been debating getting the blaster factory E-11 as it is just too dang cool, but I’m also interested in looking at rubber options that may also be in the market right now. I recently looked at hellhound props rubber version but unfortunately he is not taking any commissions right now. I was wondering if anyone knew of a current vendor who is selling a good rubber E-11? I also have a 3D printer and was going to print one but figured that if I’ll be using the E-11 a lot it may be a good idea to invest in something that may be more durable and something I wouldn't mind letting people hold for pictures. Thank you!
  3. The first Bicep is away! I doubled up the magnets just to be safe but it took me 24 to get the two outer cover strips secured while the glue dries. For pieces like the biceps and forearms is it recommended to double up on magnets or is one on each side good enough?
  4. Awesome! In that case I may just remove the parts that stick out and leave the rest for now. After that I should be able to glue and then attach any foam with double stick tape!
  5. Well magnets are finally in! I also had a question about the biceps before I think about grabbing the tube of E6000. Should I glue first and then trim some off the top of the bicep or trim some of the excess parts that poke out off first?
  6. Magnets got super delayed so I trimmed the forearms out in the meantime and will try to size them today as well. I trimmed pretty much all the return edges out of the wrist part, left a little on the upper part of the forearm just in case. Hopefully the magnets will come in soon and I can start glueing everything!
  7. Trimmed just a little more on the bicep and it seems good to go now! Everything seems like it’s of good proportion and there’s a bit less of a gap now.
  8. Gotcha! I should be good as the inside of the bicep doesn’t have too much of a gap and I’ll keep that in mind as I start with the forearm. Thanks!
  9. Awesome! That will definitely help! As far as the bit of a gap I have on the inside, if I am using foam to get a better fit so I don’t have to trim off too much, would a bit of a gap be okay or should I trim more off?
  10. Trimmed the other bicep and added foam to that one as well! They poke into the arm pit just a little bit but not much at all. Is this normal? Could I trim the part that’s near the armpit? Or should the bicep sit a little lower? Thanks for all the help! I really appreciate it!
  11. I got a 30 pack on Amazon so hopefully once those come in I can start gluing a few things at once.
  12. Will do!!!
  13. Gotcha! I’m definitely going to need them!
  14. Trimmed the bicep just a little more and test fitted with foam and it’s nice and snug! Cut out one of the cover strips (15mm) and cut the edges. Here are some pics. Once I’m ready to glue, I should sand a little where the strip is supposed to go to add adhesion right? Also I only have 6 rare earth magnets as of now and more will be coming in the mail soon. The ones I have now are 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch. I just have to tape around them and wrap them in cloth. If I use clamps on the sides of the cover strips and 3 magnets in the middle should that be enough to glue (using E6000). Thanks!
  15. Awesome! This is the way! It seemed to fit pretty well with foam strips of the size you just mentioned. It also looks like I dont have to trim any more of the armor once the foam is inserted as it fits pretty well. Excited to get both the biceps ready to be glued with cover strips!
  16. Gotcha! I had a feeling doing it in strips of foam would be the way to go!
  17. I cut about 1.5 cm off of each side of the outside half of the bicep. I then inserted one strip on each side of the inside of the bicep. It seems to fit pretty snug! Would this method be a good idea, or should I line the entire inside of the bicep with the foam? Thank you!
  18. Thank you! I just picked some up! I’ll make sure to size with the foam in to get the right fit!
  19. Quick questions for troopers who used foam to create a better fit for their biceps. What type of foam did you use and was it a lot of just a bit to help make it a little more snug? Thank you!
  20. Disregard this, just trying to post h the direct link

  22. Awesome! Thank you so much for helping me navigate the forums! I got the tube stripe decals from Trooper Bay and they were super easy to use but seem pretty symmetrical, would this be a problem form approval? https://imgur.com/a/wtBOSeR sorry having issues attaching the photos, I am going to try to see if I can the upload them. Thanks!
  23. Here’s the helmet pictures as well! https://imgur.com/a/M5RCSo7
  24. Here are some of the bicep photos https://imgur.com/a/Z0B440k
  25. Hello all! Thanks for the help! I ended up finishing the helmet and am on to the biceps. I’m one of those troopers with a smaller bicep and have been making marks when sizing and am realizing I may have to take quite a bit off to get the right fit. I was just wondering if I should trim completely on the outside of the bicep or is it okay to trim a bit in the inside so not as much gets taken off of the outside half?
