  1. Awesome! Will do! I’ll make sure I pull the thigh up more. I should be able to easily get it to fit after trimming some more of the return edges so I can fit it height up on my leg.
  2. Luckily the RS Propmasters screen used dimensions fit pretty perfectly for me when it comes to the right thigh, other than removing some more return edge for more comfort. I also found that I should probably remove the part at the back of my knee as I can’t bend my leg too well but I think this is common for more mobility!
  3. While the glue on the forearm cover strips is drying I decided to try to tackle the stain issue I had on the biceps and begin the right thigh. I did a high grit light sand on the stains (1500 grit) and had no luck. I may try a lower grit and see if that works. I also started the right thigh and did the initial trimming. Any tips for lining up the bottom of the back of the thigh where the cover strip won’t cover? Also I trimmed the return edges to the point that the RS Propmasters build video recommends for now, but eventually how much of the return edges should I trim off on the thighs? Thanks for all the help!
  4. Awesome! Will do! Also thanks for the tip on glueing the inside cover strips first. Just tried that and it seems to be looking a lot easier to do the outer cover strips already!
  5. Awesome! I’ll make sure to keep gluing the cover strips!
  6. Did a mock cover strip for the forearms and noticed that with the raised ridge side of the forearm, even with the magnets and clamps on, there seems to be a small sliver between the forearm and cover strips. Is this just normal for that side of the cover strip and will the inside cover strip help with this? Or should that cover strip be tighter? Thanks!
  7. Did a quick test fit for the whole right arm and things seem pretty good. Also finished all the fitting for the forearms so they should be good to glue once I trim some of the excess off of the back. Is there supposed to be a certain size gap between the bicep and forearm? They do touch a bit once I bend my arm but it doesn’t seem to get in the way of mobility very much.
  8. Finished shoulder bells. Should I remove all return edges from the bottom?
  9. Also did some test fitting of the right bicep and forearm. It seems to all fit pretty well. The bicep does touch the forearm when I bend my arm, and I can bend my arm a little more than 90 degrees with both armor pieces on. Will definitely trim a little more off the forearms and might cut off some near the elbow for better mobility.
  10. Used some of this polish and had no luck. May have to try the high grit sanding. If I go this route, is there a process to help finish those spots after I sand them? Thanks for the help!
  11. Nice! I’ll make sure to try the wet rag tip. Thanks for the help! Can’t wait to keep building!
  12. Awesome! I’ll make sure to give that a try if it continues to be stubborn. So far for removing excess e6000 I’ve been using an angled piece of extra abs to peel some of it back as well as rubbing the smaller bits off with my thumb. Any tips for removing extra glue? I’m definitely learning to gauge how much is enough but not too much, that way there’s less to remove after
  13. Ran into a bit of a weird issue. The clamps I used had red tips and there was some sort of a reaction between them and the e6000. It ended up leaving some red staining on the armor and I’ve had trouble removing it. At tips for this sort of thing?
  14. Trimmed the return edges as much as my Dremel allowed me, is this trimmed enough? I could always get in there with a needle file or more sandpaper is needed.
  15. Gotcha! Will do! Is a little return edge fine on the back?
  16. Did most of the trimming for the forearms I believe. Test fitted them with foam just like the biceps and they feel pretty snug. The forearms may feel a tad long, but not too bad! thanks!
  17. Sorry typo. So the flat parts don’t have to be the exact size of the cover strip*
  18. Gotcha! So they flat part has to be the exact size of the cover strip, right? And the other side can be trimmed?
  19. Trimmed all the raised edges to about 7.5mm on each side to accommodate for the 15mm cover strip. Should all the trimming I do to be from the other side of the forearm? So that the flat part stays the width of the cover strip? Thanks!
  20. Gotcha! I waited a little more than 24 hours and that may be why. I’ll make sure to let it dry for longer with the clamps and magnets still on. Thanks!
  21. Running into a bit of an issue with the bicep cover strips. The ends seem to be popping up a very little when I’m removing the excess glue. But just on the covers trips on the bottom of the bicep. On this one the cover strip seems to be pretty flush with the bottom of the bicep, but should I put my cover strips further from the edge?
  22. Thanks! Will do! I had a feeling that part would be a pain in the armpit. I should be able to trim it right off
  23. The right bicep is glued and came out pretty good! The left one had some issues when removing excess glue and the cover strip popped off partially and I’m going to re-glue that one soon. When I took off the cover strips pretty much all the glue went with them, other than a few bits I removed. Other than that I should be good to re-glue. Hope the other one looks good so far!
  24. Will do! I’m sure that will definitely help pull them apart too. Pulling two apart from the rest took some elbow grease haha. Thanks!
