TK ANH Stunt by CloseTheBlastDoor

I didn't use an ABS support strip on my rivets if it helps you make a decision. But I did use washers. -
After the day I've had today with a driver pulling over into the next lane right in front of me for the second time in my work vehicle I thought this post might cheer me up. I bought a set of ammo pouches from @justjoseph63 a while ago in hopes of building a HWT. . I must say, these are lovely. With a troop coming up this weekend I decided to start this journey and start with the TK Captian. So I ordered an orange pauldron from Trooperbay, bound it with twine and sprayed it with water to help it naturally lay down over my shoulders. I'm super excited to sport this tomorrow! Can you believe my wife asked me if I was doing this because the other TK I troop with had a white pauldron? I've wanted to be this guy forever! The styrofoam I laid it over was a store-bought item that is used to roll under your back when you're lying on the ground. The next thing I did was add snaps with leather thread and velcro to the pauldron and back side of the ammo packs. I hope this goes well tomorrow. This is the reason I used Chicago screws on my drop boxes and did not glue them together . I feel honored that I get to add these to my belt because they have been used. I'll add pictures tomorrow after the troop. Don't tell my wife, but next up is the backpack!

Nice weathering Glen! Bill, your helmet ears are looking great! I screwed one of my first sets up and had to order new ones.

Heck yeah! Quick release!

Repairing my V-Tabs. I'm also about to modify my kit so I can add an orange pauldron and @justjoseph63 's ammo packs. It'll be an honor to sport these.

Oh boy I had a moment at work! I've got one reacter speaker that just so happens to be small enough to fit in my TD. Basically, a reactive speaker will turn any object it's attached to into a speaker. It's what I use for my speakers with my chest armor. My wife had a small MP3 player that I loaded with TK chatter that runs on a loop for 45 minutes. If I can get the end of the TD off (E600 FTW) I want to install this inside of the TD . The mp3 player has a hook on it that would be perfect for mounting on the belt behind the TD. Seriously, I've got too much time at work to be pondering such things. Proof of concept is in the video. The E6000 is going to be tough to get the end off of my TD. If I can't do it I'll order a another one to try this on. I have an event for May the 4th and I don't want to mess up what I've already made. All in all, I think this is going to work great as long as I can hide the MP3 player behind the TD. https://i.imgur.com/UfPRVAx.mp4

HOW TO: Attach lenses using SUGRU
dblcross replied to justjoseph63's topic in Tutorials, Tips and HOWTOs
Mine have been Sugru attached for over a year now with no problem. -
I just wanted to point out that at a recent troop TK-42183 Was my savoir. As soon as I started to unpack my kit, I pulled out my E-11 and the Hengstler counter was sideways and dangling off of the side of my blaster. I was heartbroken. Bryan had velcro and scissors for me to use to fix it. Afterward, my armor had a few black marks on it from my blaster and neck seal, once again TK-42183 came to the rescue with Armoral wipes to shine me up! This is a lesson I'll never forget and plan on carrying more stuff in my kit just for these emergencies for my self or any other trooper needing help. You can see the white velcro holding my counter on while he's getting the scuff marks out.

I Believe while they are making their latest run the web site won't let you order anything until the next run opens. I could be wrong but I think that's how it worked with me. -
I can't help but hearing, " All tha pretty girls walk like this..".
