Brickfest is a great way to get rid of excess collectible cards. I'm all out and need to order more. Fun hanging out with the Order. -

Johnstown Trick-or-street 2024 This was my first FOTK troop last year so it seemed fitting to wear it today. Last year it was cold and rainy, today was perfect classic fall temperatures & sunny. This kid beat me at rock paper scissors. Honestly the first time I've done that on a troop. Got a partial group pic with the Mandos. -

Make-a-Wish Colorado Trunk or Treat Greenwood Village A really fun evening troop. Loving the cooler temps. Some troops have a lot more interactions than others and this is one of them. Didn't get many photos, but the dynamic trio looks great together. -

Northern Colorado Down syndrome Walk It's the second time I've done this one. Fun group and event. Nice venue by a lake. I intentionally didn't bring my blaster to today's events. I still don't know what to do with my hands if I am not carrying my blaster. So the belt grab it is. Had some fun with our Mandos (of which there were a lot in attendance due to Mercs Con) Trying to get some sun on Niamos and get harassed by two ungrateful rogues. If I would have had my blaster they would not have had so much fun. Galeton Elemenary Fall Festival The smallest town I've ever been in (and I grew up in Iowa) but teachers and parent with big hearts made a special event for the younglings. I went with my OTTK for the day since Vader was in attendance. Always a classic. -

2024-09-14 Yes!Fest 2024 Fun science themed event at the Museum in Greeley. Tons of kids which is always busy and fun. Lots of ways for a trooper to build their brains. Or not... -

Colorado Springs Comic Con Day 2 A hectic fun day. I hope the General doesn't look at this photo or I'm back for another reprogramming. -

Yeah, that's my buddy Calvin who has some great 3d printing skills. I am inspired to make one now. Might look cool with 2. -

I think rather than trying to extract data from an inaudible, ancient movie clip, why not re-record it either yourself or with a voice actor? It's not like it's James Earl Jones speaking, it's some random actor (unless someone knows differently, no shade on their abilities. ). I have spent a fair amount of time trying out AI voice dubbing, voice cloning and have limited success getting repeatable or consistent voice clips back. Assuming you can provide it enough data for a voice clone, you can get something usable, but it just doesn't quite sound real to me. I guess give it a few months/years and it'll be better. -

2024-07-04 Denver FanExpo Day 1 2024-07-05 Denver FanExpo Day 2 2024-07-06 Denver FanExpo Day 3 2024-07-07 Denver FanExpo Day 4 A crazy 4-day extravaganza with so many unique costumes and experiences. Highlight were members of the Socal garrison that allowed us to get some great First Order photo indulgences. Definitely one for the books. We are growing our ranks. For the Order! I loved this General Grievous and was honored they wanted a picture with me. The new recruits have arrived! Handsome devil. -

Timnath Safety Fair 2024 It doesn't seem like it could've been a year since this troop. A nice event, thankfully a good breeze was going on because it's starting to get HOT out. -

Estes Park Safety Fair Definitely the best fair like this that I've been to. Horses, dogs, drones & a helicopter. Our POC and buddy Officer Paul was a great guy. Things were going smoothly until I upset the wookiee. -

2024-05-03, Westminster Promenade 24 Star Wars Marathon I love events that are focused around Star Wars. Not just because I like the franchise but because the expectation for the visitors is set for the genre and they are pumped for it and the characters. Not that I don't enjoy surprising and making a lot of other smiles happen, but people are extra-jazzed to meet the characters if they are there for it. [My shoulder bells got messed up in the early pics and no one told me. ] -

2024-04-13, Wicked West Comic Expo 2024 (2 days) A fun little con with an unfairly low number of visitors. Oh well. I did get a chance to try out my updated sound-glove with a lot of positive feedback. The might of the First Order -
I definitely like this solution. I've been experimenting a bunch lately to make cloth gaskets (getting ready for summer) that are integrated into a spandex top I can just pull on. (same with knees). I am trying to make thin neoprene behave but my sewing machine is having issues and my sewing skills are such that it is not so easy. Being able to loop around and not have to fashion the "tubes" would be helpful. Great idea. Please post your results!

Trooped 2 of the 3 days of this ultra-small con. I think our garrison outnumbered the attendees 2-1. Got a couple of cool pics anyway. -

MiniCon 2024 (Landmark Comic Book Club) A fun little event. This is at a rec center, so it was as much fun interacting with the con guests as it was to surprise the people thinking they were going to go work out as normal. We had more photo interaction outside the front doors than inside the crowded floor. These events closer to Denver bring out a lot of garrison members that I don't see very often, so it's good to see some interesting variety in kits. -

2024-03-09, Scouts Pinewood Derby Short troop. Entertaining kids escalated when they had a electrical problem for their hi-tech track system. But the troop leader was a fan of all the recent Disney SW content, so I appreciated the positivity. If there is a winner for theme, this TK car is it!
