  1. Can you take a picture like this, but on the other side? Would be easier to tell!!
  2. Is your backplate overlapping the ab plate? Because it either looks like that or the rivets are placed very close to the edge of the ab!
  3. What do you say Daniel, should we take some EI photos this weekend at Comic Con? LET'S DO THIS!!!
  4. Hi Diana! Been following another awesome build of yours! Did you take fitting pictures a few weekends ago?
  5. Hello Craig and welcome to the forum! Thank you for the lovely introduction - we've all lost our freakin' minds at one point or another, totally get you there! Congratulations on taking the first steps into this crazy hobby! It's fun all the way, right at the beginning and when you do your first troop, and even 100 troops later when you just make people happy everywhere you go! Looking forward to seeing your progress as we go along! Don't be a stranger, start a build thread when you've had your build party so we can follow the progress! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ It sounds great and that you're already navigating the forum and doing your reserach! If you haven't seen it already, here is a great thread to get you started:
  6. Wow, incredible turnout!!!

People sure give me the looks on the trains only with my 138L suitcase hahaha!
  8. He got no results apparently... Possibly not enough juice in the UV light!
  9. Hello and welcome to FISD Adam! Congratulations on being able to get back on the horse and start working on your armor! Looking forward to the pics! If you don't mind, what's the dimensions you're adapting the armor to?
  10. I have a Garrison mate who is trying some sketchy stuff! Has has hyrdogen peroxide 12% and a UV lamp to try and get some white back! He wraps the part in paper towel and sprays on the HP12% on it, and then leaves it inside the contraption with the UV lamp on! Still waiting to hear back from him on the results!
  11. Do you have before and after pics?
  12. Apart from @LEGOeatPokemon in my Garrison - we have my Squad mate Henrik's Centurion threat to look at!
  13. This is the one I have!
  14. No problem, that's what we're here for! They have good videos for sure! I think, with those videos as a guide - and with the help of the forum, you'd be in good hands and be able to do it! For me, I wish that I had the option to go for a kit when I ordered my ANH-S and ANH-H, but they didn't have that available at the time (April of 2022)! For Centurion I had to scrape of my sniper knee with a knife and reposition it, and that was a really scary operation making sure it didn't break apart I weighed a little bit more as well at the time of my order - resulting in my armor having shims extended from the kidney plate - and since there is no seam allowed for Centurion, I had to get some "epoxy sculpt" and get to work on sanding it down and covering the seam by color matching the armor! If I had built the armor myself, I could have made ABS paste that would have matched the armor in color (since ABS paste is made from off cuts of ABS), see the thread below: There are pros and cons with both (commission/self build) but one thing that would be worth mentioning, is that I was just hoping that RS had put my split rivets (left side of the armor as you wear it) in the correct positions for Centurion (there is never a guarantee, since they make so many kits) - but if you build it yourself, you can measure, take pictures, post on the forum, get feedback on their position, drill it, and you should have nailed it by then! The comfort of being in control of how you build your armor would for me weigh heavier than the nervousness of building it myself!
  15. Hello and welcome to FISD! Congratulations on taking the first steps! Denuo Novo's "classic" means A New Hope in this case, from what I can gather! RS Prop Masters have everything pretty clear on what you order! I have an RS commission (ANH), but I had to do a few adjustments to get Centurion - but they do offer a kit now, from what I've seen. It's always easier to cater to the Centurion level straight from the start when building your own kit, since it's kind of a "measure twice cut once" type thing! Starting a build thread here on the forum is the best way to get assistance all the way when you build your kit or make adjustments for L2/L3 on a commission build! Many people post their progress and get verification from us on the forum before making a cut or drilling a hole, and that works great! Is there anything else you're thinking about? Here is a very useful thread packed with information!
  16. Which one of the TKs is you? ☺️
  17. Hello and welcome Adam! Thank you for the great introduction! A massive congratulations on finally having set sail towards the dream of becoming a Stormtrooper! We're all here for you should you need anything, and it seems like you're more than ready for completing the task ahead of you! Have a great weekend, and welcome!
  18. There is a list on the 501st forum, link here where you can scroll through to see if there is one in your area! Judging by one of the images you sent, on the road and power lines I guess that you live in the US? Just a wild guess, could be horribly wrong
  19. If you're going to get yourself a mannequin to display your armor, make sure that it isn't in the sun! One of the things that seems to speed up armor yellowing is direct sunlight for longer peroids of time!
  20. Hello Steve! Congratulations on your RS order!! Really excited for you, however not a fan of the waiting time, I had to wait 14 weeks and it felt like an eternity! If you are interested in the higher levels of approval as I was, I can strongly recommend checking out a lot of Expert Infantry and or Centurion applications! You gain deep knowledge of the armor and it is a really fun process! As for getting a feel for everything: Here is a little something that could help out with that!
  21. Welcome to FISD Katana! I have a Phasma in my Garrison that can share his tips and tricks, when you come to that part in your project! He is on the forum: @Coil How tall are you?
  22. Hello there! Can you take a picture of your left and right side ab/kidney connections? (the outside, not the inside)
  23. Hello there! Welcome to FISD! Looking forward to your build! Love the Shocktrooper!
  24. 69. 2024-10-19, Fotografiska Museet (The Contemporary Museum), Stockholm (Hero) The 69th troop was at the Contemporary Museum in Stockholm, our lovely capital (where I also live)! This was an awesome exhibition with the obvious theme: Space! The staff was so nice and welcoming towards us, and besides them just being awesome people, I think much of it also has to do with the fact that these people don't go to the conventions, so they aren't the usual people that we get to meet! @Coil Lining up outside to greet the visitors! A very funny thing happened! Me and @Lafleur Daniel (TK-20928) were standing on each side of the entrance, and a group of Japanese women came up to us to take pictures. We didn't talk at all and were just doing gestures, and when one of them said thank you after having their picture taken, I answered with: "Thank you!" through my com system, and she suddenly stopped in her tracks, blushed and said "Your voice is very sexy!"... and ran away! @Lafleur and @TK 17229 (Daniel had his first ever TK troop today! Congratulations buddy! ) The obligatory selfie! Tried some DJ-ing too at the end of the troop, when we were patrolling through the restaurant floor! We also took some Halloween images! Braiiinnnnns... Happy Halloween, when that comes, and if you celebrate it! (I don't really!)
  25. Congratulations Brian! That's amazing! And the year isn't over yet!
