  1. I think I had this trouble a few years back. I think the email address needs to be the same for all the 501st detachment and you need to change it centrally. Hopefully someone who knows how will be along to explain.
  2. I would say your helmet is over padded and your shoulder bells are rotating too far backwards. Looks better then before though. For ANH 1 black stripe per ear.
  3. WOW that ab plate is way different to the ANH version...
  4. Awesome well done on being the first ANH Centurian
  5. Awesome work Pete as always
  6. I won't clog up Mathias' thread too much more I promise. But I don't understand your standards being so high on the blaster but not insisting on leather boots for example? It's clearly a great looking blaster and the armour ticks all the boxes - I would have thought this an easy pass.
  7. No mention anywhere in the standards of the need for a cocking handle?
  8. Can we set up a vote for the SE-14R i would like to use mine for ANH and ESB - as i do when trooping..
  9. Awesome armour set up - you can not get bored of looking at TM armour
  10. For accuracy the elastic is glued to the rear and attaches to the single snap. The belt holds the lower part in place.
  11. A screwdriver and molegrips should do you alright.
  12. Sounds like it's time for an armour party to get this fixed. . .
  13. Is the paint dry yet - time to do the fine detailing..
  14. Looks fantastic as always
  15. I understand your idea - but if you don't conform surely the guy in charge of saying yay or nay will just say no?
  16. IIRC recasting is outside the remit of the 501st?
  17. Ifs that's the case why don't you just rewrite the standards saying these items can be attached by glue or screw? Really all this hassle over 2 small rivets.. I've seen suits in the 501st where all strapping for each major limb has been screwed directly through the armour - yet none where all add-ons were all glued. I know you keep saying this programme is not meant to be prop replication but what is it for? And what standards do you want to achieve?
  18. It's obvious to me why one side was glued and the other riveted. The sniper knee plate was formed to fit directly on the shin and the plastic thin enough that when glued moulds perfectly to the shin. Something seen on some modern day replicas. Whereas the thigh ammo pack was a flat piece that always wants to return to it's original shape when bent about the leg. Something again we see in modern day replicas. Simple fix - use rivets.
  19. Right i see - you just need to confirm the style head. Be it brads or bifurcated rivets, jeans rivets or whatever they all have solid heads. Pop rivets by their very nature have small holes in them. Thats all you need to specify - the difference between solid head or pop rivets. What you call them has little to no consequence imho.
  20. I think for standard 501st and EIB pop rivets should surfice - for the new centurian programme solid head rivets only. Is that what you mean?
  21. Rivets with solid capped heads should cover it.. and a photo..
  22. I would say.. * If rubber gloves are worn, the hand plates will be affixed via an elastic strap over the palm. * If silk or satin gloves are worn, the hand plates will have the correct visible stitching pattern using black cotton, at five points equally spread out with 2 on the sides and 1 in the middle front.
