  1. Same here. Clearing didn't help,.
  2. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  3. I think trooperbay.com has a good deal for novus.
  4. LOL! You won't regret it! Sand paperis also used to weather hand guards, boots, blasters, etc...
  5. ----------- And get some Novus polish
  6. Addition: You'd be better off if you'd get a decent supply of sandpapers (wet and dry). You will need it for various repairs of the suit (cracks, scratches etc.)
  7. I don't know how it is in the US, but around here they sell booklet with sample swatches of sandpaper. You'd need various grits, starting from rough (200) to smooth (2000+)
  8. Short answer: NO Long answer: There's no way this bug eyed monster can be modified to look vaquely accurate.
  9. now imagine, the turbine starts turning when the sword lights up...
  10. No, don't use them. The seam in the front is a big no-no
  11. I like the new part. Some kind of jet engine, right?
  12. 26 quid? Seriously?
  13. Awesome find! Congrats! They super rare
  14. We have now better and more accurate ways for strapping; just look around here
  15. I often thought about doing that. I'd do the following: Take a plaster cast of the teeth area from the out side. Sand away the extra tooth, make it smooth. Take the iron and push the tooth out. With the outside mold, and the plastic of the tooth is deformed.
  18. IIRC, the only differnce is the holster, 4 rivets vs 2
  19. You need 7 (seven) split rivets. 6 for the sides, 1 for the crotch. 8-9 mm The holster and belt is rivetet on with pop rivets - the same as the helmet. People often use Chicago screws; the look the same I'm not sure about the knee, but the look a tid smaller than the split rivets. I'd guess 6mm, standard rivet Edit: The plastic belt has 3 rivet covers, so I'd say 3 fer the belt
  20. +1 Always screw them on when test fitting it.
  21. Thank you everybody! Your advice is highly appreciated! I found out that I have to learn the skills to drill straight/exactly. It's hard to drill straight without a drill press
  22. Thanks, Paul. I thought about that, but the nut would have to placed ( fixed /glued) on the inside. and I don't know how to do it.
  23. I'd like to join two resin parts using scews, but I'd like to open it again and again (think: battery compartment or the back of a communicator) I tried screws for wood. They work, but the thread get worn out soon. I also look into threaded sleeves. What are my options? Thanks, Karin
  24. But that's a screen accurate feature! (yeah, the originals looked like manure) Nice fix!
