  1. Sniper knee popped when I tried to open the shins for setting the cover strip, so they are now both glued (cover and sniper knee) and hopefully will set and dry before tomorrow morning. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Sniper knee on left shin, rear cover strip on right shin. Now to add rear cover strip to left shin, and work on the enclosure for them. After this, pack more Celebration patches, and start getting ready for Galaxy Con Richmond this weekend. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  3. Compared to my first build, on this one I didn't measure and cut the backs before I put the inner and out strips on the front. So now that the front is done and the sniper knee glue is setting on the left leg. I will now have to figure out how to size up the back and get the velcro done. So I am a bit worried I put the cart before the horse. We'll see.
  4. So I think I did a few things backwards, and will have to figure out how to resolve it, but the fronts are done. Now to attach the sniper knee and figure out the backs/enclosure
  5. Here you go@justjoseph63, less clamps.... lol Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk

  7. I tried, but I didn't have any more room.
  8. I have started on my shins. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Started unboxing everything and putting them in the tote that the kit will live in when finished. Just to get it out of the cardboard box my wife wanted out of the house. LOL I'll be starting with the calves as they are one of the parts on my ATA kit that are just too small for me. I can't keep them secured currently. We have a big Con troop in two weeks and I want to be able to wear the TK, so I'll start there. Hopefully I'll have a few other part done as well. Thanks again to Dave Conklin from Dave's Darkside Depot for the new AM Armor. And @justjoseph63's flexible hand guards.
  10. I'm digging the photo setup. That's cool. Our GML & GWL would love if our members had something like that for photos.
  11. Unfortunately life happened and building hasn't started yet. Hopefully, I be able to get going some time this week. I've built 3 other TKs so far, so I'm going to try and be more detailed with this one. Plan to at a minimum submit it for EI.
  12. Pleasantly surprised with everything in the kit thus far, especially the flexible hand guards
  13. BBB Day is here! This if finally happening!! Building starts tomorrow!
  14. You're killing me @MaskedVengeance.... LOL Thanks again @Morgi it worked! I'll have to stick that one in my box of tricks.
  15. It worked! Thank you!
  16. Thanks @Morgi! I'll give it a try!
  17. I'm not sure what happened, but my first page is now like in the middle of my thread. I'm not sure why that happened. I just went to update it and it moved. Help! Link on the bottom of my signature.
  18. Just received my Tracking info! BBB Day is Saturday!
  19. Hey Team, can you help Dave out. I got him signed back in, and here is his profile link. https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=32862
  20. Troop 21 Big Lick ComicCon in Roanoke, VA Highlight of my trooping life so far, I got to play escort for Timothy Zahn. We marched him to and from the main stage for his Q&A panel. I also was able to troop with my son TK-12140.

  22. After some months of back and forth, I'm back on the bandwagon. 2 weeks in and I'm down 7 lbs. Changed the diet, added some additional walking and light exercises. Now to keep the momentum going. I've got a long way to rid myself of the 50 extra lbs I've put back on, but I have to continue to tell myself this is a marathon, not a sprint. 23. Got word this week that the shipping of the AM 5.0 kits will be starting this weekend (11 FEB 2023), so it only took 7 months, but seems like forever! Getting excited about this build. I bought an RS Commissioned ESB kit from a member that retired. It was build to Centurion standards, and just seeing how it was put together has help me realize all the errors I made with my ATA Stunt kit. I can't wait to build this Stunt kit to at last EI.

Taking it to the next level!
  25. I ordered mine in July of last year (2022 JUL 05) . He tells me it should be shipping in the next few weeks. He had issues getting supplies (plastic, etc). Plus had to deal with a hurricane and some other fun things. I'm told his kits are amazing, so I'm super excited waiting for mine!
