  1. Good Luck Jayson.
  2. Hi Andre, Just sand or trim just little the return edge, Don't cut back the forearm. What I did was jus sand it to leave no return edge. Attached my forearms before and after, they have the same size but no return edge. BEFORE SANDING AFTER SANDING ( didn't cut) hope this can help.
  3. Great Andre, now a little bit patience will be necessary to the D.O team to review your application and give feedback. Good luck Sr.
  4. Welcome to the ranks trooper. !!
  5. Hi Andre, glad to see another trooper going for highest levels. I would like to suggest some more pictures I'm sure the D.O. will ask you for: 1- Close up of Sniper Plate Front and both sides. to see the Alignment 2- Thigh Ammo strip rivets inside and out. 3- Close picture front and back of shoulder bridge 4- Close up of Boots As the CRL states: Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin. Sniper knee plate must not have visible rivets or fasteners attaching it to the shin. Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet, painted white, in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge. The rivets used shall be single cap, double cap or split rivets. No pop rivets allowed. Rivet should be approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter (exterior). Shoulder straps These shall be securely mounted in front and may free float in back. They may be affixed with rivets, Velcro, or adhesive. The rear tab of the shoulder strap is optional and may or may not be present. No visible rivets are allowed. There is no seam present on the front of the boot. Boots have a black sole Good luck with your application trooper.

  7. Cool Peter ! Welcome to the Legion, glad to hear you're going to higher levels.
  8. First of all, let me tell you are amazing Simon. Great job Trooper. By the other hand, remember the Helmet issue is just a suggestion, and no mandatory for the next level (Centurion) . You can apply for the L3 and delay the helmet fixing untill you are totally secure. I had the same issue with my Anovos Helmet and due it has come pre assembled, It's really difficult just think about to remake it. I'm still waiting for the right moment to do it. You're just ready to do the next step. congratulations again .
  9. Hi Austin, as in the link https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ most Armors are made of: MATERIALS Armor is made from either HIPS or ABS. HIPS --- Pros: generally less expensive, easier to trim. --- Cons: needs painting or serious polishing to look shiny. Most HIPS will not be as durable as ABS or take the stress of ABS --- Suitability: will hold up fine for regular trooping ABS --- Pros: no need to paint, high durability --- Cons: may lack the detail of HIPS, usually harder to trim --- Suitability: will hold up fine for regular trooping plus take a lot of ab I don't know if there are PVC armors . My preference is for ABS, most resistent for long trooping , don't need to paint. Cheers
  10. Hi Asjha, my helmet is an Anovos too and as per the CRL states: Neck trim shall be of an s-type profile rather than a u-type profile. Your helmet seal is just right. this is mine: and for your 2nd question, You can trim a little the high part of your thighs so you can get them up an release a bit your back knee section and the ther is what I did : to trim a little the back of thighs in a "U" shape. little by little and testing for confort. i'm adding a couple of pictures of my armor. a little trimming back knee or trimming thighs a little by little. hope this can help. and remember, little by little. cheers

  17. Hi, James. so fast posting your pictures. great job. I'm Sorry I forgot to tell you to post a close photo of your boots as per the CRL: Level two certification (if applicable): There is no seam present on the front of the boot. Boots have a black sole Looking at your armor lower back section, notice the two white snaps. As the CRL states: Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor. Snaps do not need to be functional. Snaps are silver in color with the bottom of the snap facing outward and are not painted. You may want to remove the white color in advance before the D.O. Team review your application. cheers

  19. Hi James, looking good on your armor. I would suggest some additional photos in advance, that surely the D.O.S will ask you to post: 1-Close up photos of where your shoulder bridges are connected to the chest, as well as the connection between the chest and back armor. Chest and back shall be connected with a white fabric or preferably elastic strap at the shoulders. 2- Close up of rivets inside and outside of thigh ammo strip. 3- Close photos of both sides of Snipper knee, to see the alignment. Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin. Sniper knee plate must not have visible rivets or fasteners attaching it to the shin. Any additional photos or requirements will be indicated by the official. Good luck !!
